Burr Anderson: I was married here on March 29th 1980 to my dear wife Ruth of 40 years. She passed in 2020. I just learned that Laura C. Fraser who presided over our union has passed too. The church and grounds are very special to me as I grew up in Madison Park.
Christine Bingham: I have been a member and volunteer at St Peters since moving back to Seattle after many years abroad. With so much changing so fast in our city, it can be hard to feel known and seen; this communitys warmth and quick embrace helped make my transition back home feel seamless.
My husband and I chose this parish for its location, diversity and rich history, and we have been coming back because of the kindness and genuineness of its people. So if youre looking for a spiritual home with gentle liturgy, real social engagement, good food (!) and stimulating conversation, pass by next Sunday.
Sandra Skrinnik: This was my first day going here, i admit I was nervous entering a new atmosphere, but right away I was greeted with warmth and friendliness, I felt very welcomed there, and wanted to stay longer lol it felt more like a family in Christ. Definitely very nice people. I’m also excited to go again, I never felt this way in other churches. And I was looking for a community I can connect with, rather than just listen to a sermon and leave. I feel like they care about people here. If u want to go here, it will be one of the best decisions u can make. God bless you.
Cindy Paige: Wonderful place and wonderful people. I was scared to tell them that I was homeless but I think that I still would have been treated with the same loving kindness ❤️
