USS Triton Park - Richland (WA)

5 /5 Jennifer Aalbers: Very interesting place. full of facts i didnt know was hiding away.

4 /5 Glen Danford: Very small park with maybe an 8 or 10 car lot, no bathroom thus the 4 stars, according to Google at least,and no information locally that dispells that notion.

5 /5 Jared Filbrun: While the park is modest in size, it offers a meaningful experience for those interested in military history or looking for a unique stop along the Columbia River. Its integration with the Riverfront Trail makes it a convenient addition to a day of outdoor activities in Richland.   

4 /5 Josh: Very nice little park to commemorate the USS Triton. It is an open park so free to visit. Make sure to read the plaques. The down side to this is that you can tell people have not respected it. The submarine has been painted several times and “ghosting” of what has been painted can be seen. Side note when finished walk towards the path that goes to the river and look the Saturn marker. It is part of the REACH museum to scale solar system. Don’t let the photos tease you the size of the conning tower is really big and impressive.

4 /5 Ed H: Not a lot to see but interesting history and neat that they have saved the con tower. If you schedule in advance you can get a tour inside the tower.
