Graham Tranter: We didnt even know there was an underground until we saw the tour listed as a thing to do on a day trip to Port Angeles. I think it was fun to do once but my interest may have been muted by having done old town tours in quite a few other locations. Our guide was knowledgeable and passionate about the tour which I think elevated it above more touristy tours I have done in the past.
BREE PASKIEWICZ: We love the view from this tower. Its an easy climb on marine heavy duty stairs that are nice and wide, too. You can see the town, the wharf really well, and theres plenty of room on the platform.
Although the whole town basically has great views due to tiered coastline where the mostly uniform building heights rise evenly and do not obstruct the vast Strait of San Juan de Fuca and Olympic mountains!
Jay McCormick: I had a fantastic experience at the Olympic National Park Visitor Center! The staff was incredibly friendly and provided excellent recommendations for hiking trails suitable for my family. The exhibits were very well-designed and gave a great overview of the parks diverse ecosystems.
The gift shop had a good selection of souvenirs. Parking was easy to find. Highly recommend stopping here before heading into the park!
April J: A beautiful, peaceful place for some nature therapy! It was quiet, well maintained, with stunning views. I went just for the day on a Saturday and there was plenty of parking. Signage could be better, though. The beach was so beautiful!
Ganesh Kumar: Great little aquarium and learning center. There is plenty to see and learn here all for $6 entrance fee. Facility maintained well with ocean water inlet. The volunteers are knowledgeable and answer questions patiently. Must see Jelly fish section and touch exhibits. No restrooms. Plenty of free parking.
Ryan Hallam: A very cool place to visit. There is plenty of parking and lots of space to sit. There are picnic tables and bathrooms. Not a bad place to sit and enjoy some sun.
Sherrie Gerdon: I only glanced quick and was able to look at a map. There were very friendly staff present and willing to help me, and there was plenty of information regarding Port Angeles and the peninsula cities near by.
Rachel: Clean and pleasant with lots of good seating, refreshments, gifts, books, alcohol, vegetarian options, meals...anything you could need. Also very dog friendly! A great way to go to Canada! (It does rock quite a bit in some places so be prepared if you get seasick easily.)
