West Valley Community Park - Yakima Tina Bowden: Great picnic location. The shelter we had was in the middle of the park , so there was quite a walk. In Spite of that it was a great place to have.
Randall Park - Yakima Liz C: Beautiful park with lots of nature to spot encompassed by a great paved walking trail. The kids enjoyed the play structures while the mamas enjoyed chatting in the shade at a nearby picnic table.
Carson Springs Wildlife Conservation Foundation - Waldo Jordan Malecki: An amazing place for people of all ages!! Our tour guide, Mia, was great to have on our Valentine’s Day tour! You can tell they genuinely care for the animals there. Along with the conservation of these magnificent creatures. I would recommend everyone to tour here at least one, and maybe consider sponsoring some animals or donating!
Wickham Park - Melbourne Jennifer Countryman: Best place for a birthday party! The Rangers are so nice and helpful. Very clean and peaceful. Even had water slides and a bounce house from Home Run Jumps.
Hightower Beach - Satellite Beach Amber: Very nice and clean beach and not crowded at all. You have to pay for parking but its super close and its only $10 for 12 hrs.
Rotary Riverfront Park - Titusville Hayden: Rotary Riverfront Park is a beautiful and relaxing spot right by the water. The views of the Indian River are incredible, especially at sunrise or during a rocket launch. The fishing pier is spacious, the playground is great for kids, and the whole park is clean and well-kept. It’s a perfect place for a walk, a family picnic, or just to sit and enjoy the scenery. Definitely worth a visit if youre in the area.
Chain of Lakes Park - Titusville Orita Issartel: We discovered this place when we went for a bike ride. Saw lots of gators and met friendly people. Very scenic! Worth the visit. I’ve actually biked here 3 times now.
Sand Point Park - Titusville Nikki W: Great option for people to enjoy a quiet neighborhood park, yet large enough for big events. There is plenty of parking throughout the park, using different entrances. No traffic jams. Easily accessible off of main streets, from different angles off Max Brewer bridge.
There are playgrounds for children with clean, safe equipment that is well taken care of. Walking trails that are clean of debris, for daily walks alone, or with pets. Along the trails, there are functional, exercise equipment pieces for fitness enthusiasts to do stomach, leg, and arm reps/exercises. There are also several large, open green space areas for picnics, soccer, kite flying, etc. Along the walking trails, you get to experience beautiful views of the Indian River. Sit or walk and watch the boats go by or watch nature at its finest while enjoying the breeze. There are seats positioned along the trails. Check out King Titus monument at the far end of the trail at the turn-around loop.
Bathrooms are clean. The pavilion area for hosting shows or events is a nice addition that you dont see in many parks.
