5 /5 Isaac Espinoza: Out of all the places I enjoy photographing senior pictures, portraits, and group photos the arboretum has to be one of my favorite venues! I would say it has something to do with the person that is now in charge of maintaining and up keeping the landscaping! Definitely recommend stopping by this summer and taking in the scenery before the cherry blossoms trees finish blooming!

5 /5 Paden Barnard: Such a great visit to the Arboretum. Such a well taken care of place for a good stroll. The staff in the main building was so kind and accommodating. In the rain with the fall colors it was a beautiful late afternoon walk. I am impressed at the collection they have. This would be a constant visit for me if I was local. I could see it being a fun place to host a birthday or special event. And of course plenty of space I could imagine the kids could burn some good energy off.

5 /5 Kary Stewart: We hosted a birthday/baby shower. The building was clean, and the kitchen had all the dishes we needed for 60 people. Beautiful setting for family and friends from out of town.

5 /5 Danyelle Warner: Beautiful place to take a walk. Some benches to stop and rest. Gardens are lovely. Visitor center and gift shop are a must see. Kids will love the turtles!

Meadowbrook Family Fun Center - Yakima

Juan Ramirez: Had a birthday party here. The area was clean but the party next to us kept coming into our area. We were told that we can’t bring outside food and drinks but every other party either bought outside drinks or ordered pizza somewhere else. The pizza at meadowbrook is trash!!!!! It’s burnt we ordered 6 pizzas 5 were burnt. Only some drinks were working. A lot of the games weren’t working and the VR games weren’t open until after our party was over. For 200 dollars I expected better.

Yakima Sportsman State Park - Yakima

Hans Gritsch: Beautiful campground with full hook ups. Lots of grass and shade due to the sprinkler system. George was very friendly when we arrived. Must check in before dark. Nice trails around the park. We did come across a "homless" camper with lots of bikes near his tent. He was friendly, there are notices to lock up bikes.

Kiwanis Park - Yakima

Deena Fleming: Wow what a beautiful park. We got food here and the concession stand was immaculate. Our waiting time was less than three minutes. Great place for the family. We really enjoyed the ball games. Amazing team spirit !especially the team mascot Junie.

Wilridge Vineyard Farmhouse Tasting Room - Yakima

Arjun Bardhan: Beautiful laid back winery in Yakima. We sat at the backyard in the shades where the kids could play around. The setting was lovely. We had the estates mix and red wine tasting. Everything was great! It could be crowded on weekends and there may be a wait placing an order. Ample parking space. Soak in the sun and shade and enjoy the wine tasting experience!

Yakima Valley Trolleys - yakima - Yakima

Daryl Bullard: This was a great experience! They have solved the problem of wire theft by hooking a generator to the trolley, and now it goes all of the way to Selah! Once you get there its fun because the seats all can be transformed so that they are facing the other direction. There are some beautiful views going through the Selah gap, although in places the scenery is ruined by homeless camps, but that isnt the trolleys fault. My family enjoyed the relaxing ride and it was very refreshing. I highly recommend that you give it a try!

Rebecca Meikle: This is an excellent place for a family picnic or a large gathering. Limited parking in lot. These are beautiful grounds! Theres lots of picnic tables, a volleyball court, and its at the Rivers side. My kids wish that the playground offered a slide or that there were swings to play on but there are some average climbing items... Also, there is a public restroom but it isnt pretty!

Dave Stearns: My wife and I LOVED taking the trolley out to Selah. Theres not a lot to see or do when you get there. But the ride out and back was AWESOME!!

Kristina Clement: Gorgeous views and a really easy hike. You cross over nine little bridges and can hear the sound of water flowing throughout the trail. Cool rock formations.
