4 /5 L R: I have been knitting and crocheting for a long time, and I absolutely love supporting small local yarn shops. I am however, quite young for the typical knitter, and I probably dont come across as experienced at first glance. I came into this store to purchase some hanks for a fair isle sweater im designing. I didnt know what colors I needed yet, and I just wanted to see what was in stock.
I felt like when I came into the store I wasnt treated with the most kindness. I know, I look young and inexperienced, but I knew I had to place a pretty big order. I felt bad talking to the staff and asking questions, and I could tell there was some possible annoyance with my order.
With the yarn hanks, I do not have the supplies at home to wind it myself. I asked the lady working if it would be ok if they did it for me, and I could tell they were either very overwhelmed or annoyed. The store was not busy. I apologized and said I was sorry for my order, and left feeling like I was a bother to the staff. I still spent a lot of money, but felt like I annoyed the team by asking for my yarn to be wound up.
Overall this place was beautiful, and I will be back to get more yarn. Thank you for the beautiful materials, and to the staff that helped!
