1 /5 Josh Powell: I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at the firearms counter.
Shortly after Christmas, I visited the store to inquire about purchasing a rifle that was available at another location. I was told it would not be a problem to have the firearm transferred and that it would take approximately one week.
Over the next three to four weeks, I called regularly to check on the status. Each time, I was told I would receive a phone call when the rifle arrived. As of February 11th, I had received no communication or updates.
When I called again today, I was told that the exact type of firearm I had been waiting for did in fact arrive — and that it had just been sold. After consistently following up and being assured I would be notified, it was extremely frustrating to learn that it came in and was sold without any contact.
I understand that delays can happen, but the complete lack of communication and follow-through is unacceptable. I hope the store takes steps to improve communication and customer service so this does not happen to others.
