1 /5 Jacey D: I brought in a bag of clothes to Plato’s Closet and was really disappointed with the experience. The two girls working up front barely acknowledged me even though I was standing right there, and they seemed much more focused on their own conversation and their phones than helping customers.
It also didn’t feel like they were genuinely looking through or considering the clothes I brought in. They appeared more invested in their story than actually reviewing what was being offered.
It honestly made me feel uncomfortable and like I was interrupting them just by being there. Customer service matters, especially in a resale shop where people are trusting you with their items. A simple greeting, attention to customers, and basic professionalism would have gone a long way.
Unfortunately, this experience makes me hesitant to come back.
