Siesta Motel - Colfax (WA)

5 /5 Shem Ishler: Had a pleasant siesta at the Siesta Motel. Clean, comfortable, quiet, affordable…. Probably the best motel shower you’ll ever have. This isn’t the Super 6 or National 9 motel where the owner turns down the water heater and uses shower heads that have been clogged with minerals since they took over. Oh no! You’re getting a full head with good pressure and plenty of heat. The soft towels were the coup de grâce. Of course, if you had spent the wintry night on Lookout Pass in a Uhaul truck you’d be as jacked about the shower as I was. Just please don’t be foolish and make sure you have the shower curtain in the bathtub when running the shower. Apparently this is enough of an issue that they installed little plaques. Believe it or not it works just like the one you have at home folks!

5 /5 R Van Vleck: The rooms were clean and had the amenities we needed. Fridge, microwave, A/C, coffee maker. I enjoyed that there was a small table and chairs so we could play games and eat. I do wish that there had been another chair or two, since this unit has two queen size beds. We only had one interaction with staff and they were very friendly and helpful. On our way, shortly before check-in time, we received a text welcoming us, which included our room code. On the morning of departure, check-out instructions were texted to us, so we could get up and go. You could tell this is an older motel, but has been lovingly updated as much as one can. There were fluffy towels and lots of hot water. I appreciate the key -less entry into the rooms, so we didnt have to keep track of a key or a card, while trying to move the kiddo into their dorm. My ONLY complaint is that the beds are not comfortable. They seem to be an older mattresses style-the spring kind-so not very supportive. Im hoping that mattress updating is in the near future, as I would like to stay here again. Its a great value and close proximity to Pullman/WSU, so we can visit the kiddo. Im sore well be back again!! Thank you.

5 /5 Jennifer: It was an hour from where I needed to be, but I couldnt beat the price! The rooms are true to the pics, very clean and neat. The staff was wonderful! I couldnt of asked for a better experience for the price. I will DEFINITELY stay again next time I am in the area!

5 /5 Rick Fann: The rooms are a little on the small side, but very clean and very comfortable. The pillows are super soft. The bed is a little on the firm side. If youre passing through, I would highly recommend this motel. It looks a little rough on the outside. But very clean on the inside, dont be fooled.

5 /5 shelley horton: The check-in and check-out was easier than any hotel I’ve stayed. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The shower was wonderful and stayed warm the entire time. Although I came in very late and had to park along the street, it seemed safe and the parking lot and doorways were well lit. I felt very safe. Although I only communicated through text, the employees were very prompt, professional, and friendly. I would definitely stay here again.
