Sandra Skrinnik This was my first day going here, i admit I was nervous entering a new atmosphere, but right away I was greeted with warmth and friendliness, I felt very welcomed there, and wanted to stay longer lol it felt more like a family in Christ. Definitely very nice people. I’m also excited to go again, I never felt this way in other churches. And I was looking for a community I can connect with, rather than just listen to a sermon and leave. I feel like they care about people here. If u want to go here, it will be one of the best decisions u can make. God bless you.

W K My family has been attending this church for several years. We first came because of AWANA, and our kids really enjoy their Sunday school program, so we decided to stay. We made good friends here. It’s a welcoming community with excellent teaching and offers a variety of programs for all groups—kids, families, women, and more. Definitely worth checking out! :)

Jenny Ly I have attended many different churches hoping to find a church that is Bible based and Bible focused. Not only does this church focus its messages/beliefs purely on Jesus and the Bible, the community here truly live it out as well. The calling of Blue Sky’s mission as a church is a little more unique of planting churches than other churches I’ve previously attended that typically supports homeless ministries and community-based ministries as its mission. They still provide so much hospitality, love and kindness to whoever walks through the doors. This is one of the best churches I’ve been to and I have grown so much spiritually. The pastors, leaders, and members of the church have lovingly helped me learn how to devote my life to Jesus daily.

Jay Edgar We went for Ash Wednesday service, and were very welcomed by other parishioners and the clergy. A nice atmosphere. Wish we could visit more!

Cayanne Cooper My daughter biked two summers of the churchs youth bike trips and couldnt have been happier. It was an enlivening experience she will never forget. Mikes sermons were a blessing to her, and theres just something special about this church overall that makes you feel like you belong there. I love how the sermons are online, for of all the churches weve gone to in Everett, none have even come close to Bellevues Calvary Chapel Eastside.

Cynthia Rickman I love this church! Ive been attending for about 2 yrs now, since I moved to Bellevue & lost my previous church due to the pandemic. I walked into my first service & immediately felt the Lords presence, which I have since heard from most others I have met. I soon learned & have always felt that it is a safe space for EVERYONE wanting to learn about & have a relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ. I am most grateful to the Jeevas for ministering the word, their vulnerability in sharing their life stories & for building a community of friends, gathered in faith. I was quick to want to be involved & joined the kids team, which I now emcee elementary on days I volunteer. I would encourage anyone thats curious to visit Kalos for a service & take a few minutes to meet the pastures, which is offered after every service. Its a no pressure, inconspicuous environment that allows everyone to come as they are.

jerald prater I need to go a few more times before I give a final evaluation I have to say yes the teaching and the worship were incredibly good however the one gripe I have is there sound system is really really poor I couldnt hear most everything they said I went to the tech and gave her a note basically which I said please increase the volume and lower the mid-range I think she looked at me like who the heck are you well I know enough about music and it the sound when it came to actual speaking I simply couldnt understand it I couldnt hear it I so halfway through the service I just got up and left now the cool thing is online in my computer I can hear fine so I will keep listening to them on the computer for the preaching but go back for the worship

mark naismith Attended 116 for the first time, on Christmas Evening 2024. Very impressed by the ambience and spirit there, for sure! Their musical group was very talented, that’s for sure! Billy is a very accomplished presenter! What I honestly didn’t care for, to be honest, is asking the attendees to stand, for a majority of the service. I felt totally obligated to do this, with my younger family.

With humble hearts, we came before God and began our journey—from being seekers to receiving baptism and becoming followers of Christ. We are deeply grateful to every brother and sister here. It is through your love, actions, and faithfulness that we were welcomed into the body of Christ. Beyond the Sunday worship services and Bible studies, this church offers a vibrant community filled with rich fellowship and meaningful connections. There are potluck lunches, movie nights, sports and fitness activities, breakfast gatherings, and camping trips—so many opportunities to grow together and share life. Here, we’ve met friends from all over the world, united by a shared faith, learning together, and exploring the meaning of life in Christ. This church has a rich history and a heart for global missions, actively supporting ministries in other nations. As a non-native English speaker, I was especially thankful for the thoughtful arrangement of live translation services, which made everything accessible and welcoming. The children’s ministry is also exceptional, with well-equipped facilities and, more importantly, loving and attentive teachers who care deeply for every child. We thank the Lord for this church and for every person who serves so faithfully. May God continue to bless this community and use it as a light to the nations.

Susan Larson We have attended the church for the past 5 Sunday services. We looked to find a smaller church that accurately preaches the Bible. We are empty nesters and really feel welcomed and enjoyed the worship and fellowship. Many people are new members like us who want to plug in and be fed. All of their Pastors we’re happy to meet us and greet us by name! Mostly, we enjoyed sitting under Pastor Joe’s preaching the Word of God vibrantly and with good application for us. i highly recommend this small and joyful church community.

Michael Cheung I have to say, the greeters are very friendly, but that was about the only good thing I have to say about this church. It sort of felt like we were at a cult, the first part of the session was hailing the return of the lead pastor and all the amazing things he was doing while out on holiday. Secondly, me and my entire family felt very uncomfortable when we first stepped into the church to find that 90% of the people were not wearing masks. Then when the lead pastor started preaching about supporting the attendance of those who are unvaccinated and do not wear masks or those who do not want to get vaccinated, it was a big sign that we had to get out of there. Also do note that this is just one of their satellite churches. So besides praise and worship, everything is you watching a screen.

Strollin Soda Pops Wow, what a church! Very welcoming and friendly and I highly recommend it for anyone especially families. The sermon was good and the kids ministry is awesome, a lot of fun!

bree oldham My husband and I have been attending for over two years and have been so blessed by the community. We love how Bible based the church is and how the focus is on the Word of God. We have loved how welcoming everyone is and how loving the community is!

Robert S Lebeck Total acceptance and inclusion are what will greet you at the door here. Do you like to socialize? They have a great lunch after every service. Its awesome to get to know the people who attend church here. If you want a church you can be a PART OF, this is the one!

Rick Hartman Such a warm, friendly church. Strong Bible preaching on the Sunday we visited and lovely music, a bit on old-fashioned side. We live in another state, though, so we will only be able to attend when we visit relatives in the area.

Ian Highsmith Absolutely beautiful church grounds. We walked up there to look at a Lego display they had in the sanctuary. I was expecting it to be a house or a flat-top building like a lot of the unitarian churches I used to go to in the South-east. But I was wrong. Its a stunning campus with old-growth trees, gardens, trails, artwork, beautifully designed buildings, and stained glass. Im extremely impressed, and Ive never been to sermon there, nor am I a religious person. 2024 update: I am now a member of this church. I am still not a religious person, but that is not a requirement for Unitarians, it seems. My children love it here, and there is a sense of community there that is lacking in other aspects of our lives. The programs they have for kids are fantastic, and the Family group that meets once a month has really helped my wife and I connect and feel less alone with the hardships of parenting.

Ashley I am normally always quite and shy at new places, I came here when they had the week of Revival services and truly felt Gods presence. This is the first church Ive been where I really feel like I can be myself, the pastor is awesome and everyone there makes you feel like family. On Wednesday nights there is a dinner and bible study, but it feels more like a big family dinner. I just love this place. If youre looking for a pastor, church and congregation who are real, honest, down to earth, loving people I would suggest coming here.
