Amanda Grant Kids N Us has been the best thing for me and my girls!! I have to say though it did not start out that way. My youngest was very hesitant, crying at every drop off and pick up just stressed out not wanting to leave me, she was 3 at the time. With the help of the 2 most amazing teachers, Ms Jocelyn and Ms Kaylah, their love and patience, created such a safe space for my youngest daughter!!! It made it so she WANTED to go there and DOESNT want to get picked up, she’s having way too much fun with her friends!!! She looks forward every day to seeing everyone! My oldest was ready to go with no problems has so many friends loves all her teachers (Ms Teresa the most) has a blast!! I can not thank Kids N Us enough for how loved and safe my kids feel there! I can not recommend this place enough!!!

Yesenia Barriga My kids have been attending Kids N Us a couple weeks and I cannot speak highly enough about the outstanding care my child has received from Ms. Aaliyah, Roxann, and Holly. Each of these amazing caregivers brings something special to the table, creating a nurturing, fun, and safe environment that my child absolutely loves. Ms. Aaliyah has a natural warmth and patience that puts both children and parents at ease. She’s attentive, compassionate, and always goes the extra mile to ensure every child feels included and valued. I’m so happy we found this place and I highly recommend it.

Andromeda Cosmic I have truly enjoyed going to this school! The teachers are patient, adapt to your learning style, and have a way to calm your nerves. I have never touched a manual, and they taught me how to drive and pass my tests in a manual truck. Ed, Rhonda, and Sherrill are the best teachers I’ve had. And Mr. Joe is an amazing owner! Answered any questions I had and was kind with any mess ups I had. 10/10, I would recommend!

Kelsea Jones We had our toddler in Promising Futures from when she was 1 to 2.5. She was well cared for and we always felt she was safe. They did turn over staff regularly (as all day cares seem to) but we always liked the teachers and had good interactions. There is always an adjustment period when there is a new face in the room but they were good about helping distract our toddler at drop off to try to make the transition easier. The classrooms are super spacious and the kids had plenty to do. They did a lot of artwork and activities and spent plenty of time outside. They use the brightwheel app to log your childs meals and diapers/potty trips/naps. It was also used for communication with the teachers and office staff which was very convenient. We enjoyed getting pictures of our toddler through the app so we could see what she was up to.

Julie Farmer Mackenzie and her staff at Promising Futures Early Education Center were absolutely a blessing to me and my family. I had my daughter attend since she was about 6 months old until the day she went off to Kindergarten. Their curriculum is faith based which was wonderful starting at such a young age. She was introduced to Bible stories, values, songs, verses, in addition to academics at such a fundamental age. The center is bright and fresh, the rooms are spacious and inviting with a variety of activities, and were consistently clean. They use the Brightwheel app which details out when your child ate, when they slept, diaper changes or potty trips, can easily share pictures, and communicate with staff. They have a great playground and also spent a lot of time outside. I am so happy I was able to have Promising Futures as part of our village for so long and to have that consistent foundation for my daughter. As a former licensed child care provider and a former Youth and Family Director, I had high standards and they were able to consistently exceed my expectations. I highly recommend this center to anyone seeking loving, sincere, quality care for their child. Thank you Mackenzie and staff!

Siara Page When looking for a school for my 4 year old, I wanted a school/daycare that provided love and affection to my son, who is in the schools care more than mine due to a full work schedule. Promising futures is a really wonderful place for children. They are loving and affectionate. They keep communication very open and if I ever have a concern they go above and beyond to make sure my concern is addressed and that I feel okay about the outcome. At one point my son told me something that a teacher had said to another child that, to me, sounded a little concerning (It turns out that was said was very playful and well-meaning). I messaged the director about the concern and she not only heard what I had to say but also validated my feelings. She also viewed the video and audio footage to see what had occurred. I should have asked my son a few more questions to see if what was said was playful, what he thought of it, etc. However, it didn’t make the school or teachers view me as needy or overbearing, they validated and we all moved on. This validation was very helpful for someone like me. They have a great curriculum. They use wonderful correction techniques when kids’ behavior need correcting. They are very kind and truly care for my son and his needs. Both my son and I are very happy to be a part of this school family.

Erin Yousling This year is my last kiddos turn at Bethany. All of my kids have attended the 4s preschool program here. They have LOVED the friends, experiences and amazing teachers who have poured so much love and time into their lives. I love how much Art and song is emphasized here, and the small class size really gives your kiddo the attention they need at this age, along with the freedom to ask questions and explore how to learn.

Jordin Guel Both of my boys attended the preschool and I cannot emphasize enough how wonderful the teachers and program are. The activities, field trips and daily routine is a good preparation for kindergarten. The women are wonderful and communication is great for busy parents.

Renee DeLaFuente So relieved my grandchildren are no longer attending this place. My grandson had a daycare teacher who had no patience to deal with common toddler aged behavior. Hes been out of this place for a week now and see a huge difference in all around well being. Grateful for daycare teachers who actually love their job and take the time to understand a toddlers behavior.

wen liu it is hard to say, (it feels good at first...) we started to attend this daycare half of year ago, had a month my baby kept getting sick from daycare, so we quit this daycare for 2 months then getting back in, i think it might because winter season and people got sick easy. after that my baby got a super bad diaper rash, but the paper still wrote down "changed diaper at 8am,10am..." which i do not believe it, such a BAD diaper rash would cost at least 4-5 hours no changing diapers...then after the doc diagnose he has speech delay, it probably because he didnot get interacted in daycare, then i started to watch him after putting him in daycare, and he has been alone by himself, watching others, sitting there by himself... the reason i put him in daycare is that i want him to interact with others with surroundings. after all that, i removed him from there... sorry about it, not blaming it to anyone but that is what happened to me.

Erika Scott I highly recommend The Learning Ladder to anyone seeking child care. My 9-month old son has been attending The Learning Ladder for the past 6-ish months and we love it! I know he is well taken care of here and trust his teachers fully. Each time we enter the facility, he is all smiles and is clearly very excited to going to "school." They are excellent when it comes to parent communications, COVID-19 precautions, and child safety. My son comes home nearly daily now having learned something new. Whether it is something as small as a new sound to babble or something as major as "scooting" across the room (not yet crawling), it is clear that he is getting the attention he needs and the socialization that is required for all growing kiddos. The tuition prices are also very competitive with other daycare companies in the area (and well worth the money)! Again, I highly recommend he Learning Ladder to anyone seeking child care.

Caroline Boyce Skagit Art Preschool is an absolute gem of a learning environment! From the moment we walked in, we felt the warmth and kindness of the staff, who treat every child with such care, patience, and genuine affection. The level of attentiveness and thoughtfulness they bring to each interaction is truly special—it’s clear they see and nurture the unique potential in every child. What sets Skagit Art Preschool apart is their incredible ability to foster creativity while supporting essential social-emotional growth. The programming is both engaging and flexible, allowing kids to explore the arts in a way that feels natural and joyful. Whether it’s painting, music, storytelling, or imaginative play, the teachers skillfully weave in lessons about empathy, teamwork, and self-expression, helping the children build confidence in themselves and their abilities. Since starting at Skagit Art Preschool, my daughter has absolutely flourished. Her happiness, confidence, and love for learning have grown immensely, and I credit so much of that to the nurturing environment the school provides. Seeing her come home excited to share her art, stories, and new friendships fills my heart with gratitude. If you’re looking for a preschool that not only prioritizes education but also deeply values the emotional well-being of children, Skagit Art Preschool is the perfect place. We feel so lucky to be part of this wonderful community!

jim oboyle These people were awful to us. They intentionally fluctuated prices which was against our contract with them, and would charge us for several additional days than they should have. They then tried to claim we were behind on payment, and they shared with me their billing system screen. They definitely regretted it because Im aware of how these systems work and I had to educate them on how to correctly interpret the system. Not only did I show that we were not behind on payment, but they had overcharged us by hundreds of dollars over the year. The owner, Sylvia, admitted to being incorrect and said we would go to a fixed payment (which is what our contract stated). However, they retaliated for us standing up to their predatory billing scam. Our daughter that attended was one of the only kids that stayed after 4PM because of our work schedule. Literally 20 minutes after leaving the meeting where I called out their inability to interpret their own billing system, the owner called me and told me they were suddenly going to be closing at 4, pushing us out. then, a few months later at their other location, SVELC, our younger child was pushed out in a very similar manner. They arbitrarily changed their "policy" in such a way that my younger child was now "too old to be allowed in the youngest class", but also they knew we were still potty training her (only 2 years old) and they said she couldnt go to the older class unless she was potty trained within a few weeks. We put in our notice of unenrollment at that point. A few days later, I went to pick my child up, they were outside in 80 degree weather, and my child was immediately begging for water. The teacher said "oh, we forgot your water bottle inside, sorry". I am certain my child had asked them for water previously, and feel that they were neglecting my child as retaliation. I called them out on this and they lied, stating I "went in and spoke to the manager who told me xyz", which was completely false, I did not go into the facility. The predatory billing "mistakes" and retaliation were so toxic, please do not bring your children here.
