Brock Walker I have taken the week-long "Hand Tool Heaven" class and various other weekend classes at the Port Townsend School of Woodworking, including: a furniture design course, a cabinet joinery course, and a Northwest Coast carving toolmaking class. All of the courses have been excessively enjoyable, very informative, and I left a better maker each time. The instructors who taught these classes, which included the schools founders and other talented and accomplished craftspeople, have provided excellent classroom and individualized instruction as well as real, useful content without time-filling fluff. I will be back for a course as soon as I possibly can be.

Susan Smith I recently took the Woodworking for Women - fantastic class. I have limited experience in woodworking, some self-taught and some instruction from husband/uncles. This class taught me new things and better ways for skills I already had. The instructors were wonderful and the week was packed with great instruction and practice on scrap wood and making a serving tray. I recommend it or any other class at the school highly.

Bruce Kessler Excellent school. Well run and my instructor, Jerrod Dahl, was top notch! I took the 5 day Greenwood Carving class. What a great place to camp as well. Tap water is highly chlorinated though. Ugh. But dont let that stop you from coming! I appreciated the quick yoga class at lunch to work out the kinks from 7 hour class.
