Mary Kelly I have lived in Seattle for just a month, so didnt have an established dentist. I woke up on Monday, had a glass of water and my crown came out. It was a front tooth, so nothing could happen until it was fixed. I called Seattle Dental, and they were able to see me that afternoon. Everyone in the office was amazing, and Dr. Amanda Guerrero did a fine job of reattaching my crown. They made a stressful day end well, and I found my new dentist in Seattle.

Ryan Gilligan Michelle is probably the best hygienist Ive ever been to. She is super thorough and makes sure to explain every detail of my treatment plan. She gave me the best cleaning Ive probably had in my whole life, I had no pain even when she gave me the numbing shots. My appointment also got done in a timely manner. She also suggested a great water flosser, she is very knowledgeable in what shes doing and has great bed-side manner with her patients. 10/10 Highly recommended, Dr. Amato is lucky to have such a great hygienist.

Jo Anti The best! Ive been to my share of dentists in my lifetime and usually am frowny when walking in the door due to prodding and general anticipatory teeth scratching unpleasantries. Not with Amato- I actually smile walking in the door and cant wait to catch up with the fabulous dental assistant that cleans my teeth. Really great at what they do and no "upselling" that I have experienced in other offices. A friend referred me to Amato and I am thrilled with everything here.

Christina Sunstone I’ve been a patient at Crown Hill Dental for … gracious, could it be 20 years?! I think it might be. And I’ve been very happy with every aspect of their care. Dr. Nguyen has always been respectful of and accommodating to my anxiety and low pain threshold, always ready to stop, administer additional anesthetic, adjust his approach, and really listen to what’s going on. Their equipment and techniques are modern, high tech, even cutting edge. Their administrative staff is top notch with scheduling, communication, and insurance and billing. I recommend Crown Hill Dental to people all the time. You should go!

Tessa I had an overall disappointing experience with both the dentist and front desk staff at Crown Hill Dental. One of my fillings was done incorrectly, causing daily nerve pain. When I returned to have it redone (not fun) a week later, I was left waiting in the dental chair for over 30 minutes without assistance, until I walked back to the front desk. Additionally, I was charged for a separate filling that was not covered by my insurance, forcing me to pay out of pocket. Despite multiple calls to Crown Hill Dental over several months, it was difficult to obtain my records and an explanation of why the filling was necessary. I had no prior issues with the tooth and Ive never not had a filling be covered by insurance, I would have appreciated more transparency in my care. To add to the bad experience, I was recently informed by my insurer (Delta Dental) that the dentist I saw is either no longer practicing or in-network. I wish I had received better service and I do not recommend this office.

LaChina Acissej The place is nice and clean, the receptionist at the desk Sara is super friendly and kind. Steven one of the assistance was rude and not welcoming, he seemed upset that he had to actually work ..? I asked him a question and he seemed pissed off, he asked “whose the one that I have to speak Spanish to?” like boy did you not see the name it’s a guys name, use your brain. I asked another question and he seemed pissed off, it’s not like he does a lot of work either. The doctor was nice and professional. I will not be coming back here though, almost spent $800 just for a tooth extraction.

CD cloudy days Great experience came in with a really bad toothache. Elizabeth the office manager was awesome, she helped me figure out the financing and was very patient and kind. Dr. Photo (I think I spelled it wrong) made me feel at ease. Hes very knowledgeable. 5 stars I will come back again and definitely recommend Emergency dental care.

Steve S. First time visit to Ballard Dentistry after years of dealing with mostly male dentists who dictated a “treatment plan “ that lined their pockets rather than address my needs. That’s what distinguishes BD. The hygienist and dentist Kelly listen rather than dictate and were not judgmental considering the sorry state of my mouth. That same day we discussed a treatment plan that clearly laid out what insurance paid and my responsibility. The office was very calming too an added plus. I highly recommend BD.

Jillian Dalton Honestly, I’ve always hated going to the dentist. My first visit to Ballard Dentistry was by far my favorite experience. From the helpful and kind front desk staff, transparent pricing, and staff that made me feel comfortable and at ease - it was a pleasant visit. My hygienist and doctor were kind, helpful and explained things in a non-rushed way. I didn’t feel like another face in their endless stream of patients. They took time to give me quality care. Did I mention they use lukewarm water when washing your teeth instead of the usual glacier cold water I’ve always received? They do this specifically because they know many people - myself included - have really sensitive teeth. I’m looking forward to my care with them, which is something I never thought I’d say about a dentist visit. I don’t usually do reviews, but this place deserves it!

Kat V. I wanted to find a dentist closer to home and came here for one cleaning. They immediately recommended $1000 of work on an area of my teeth that my current dentist says does not need any treatment. It felt like the hygienist was trying to come up with things that were wrong with me and mentioned issues that my long-time dentist never did. When I confronted her about this she said "Maybe Im more honest than other hygienists." Huge red flag. Any time you go to a new dentist, beware when they want to start working on you right away. I still have not had any work done on the area they claimed needed attention.

Julia Rolla The team is so incredibly gentle and took my tooth pain into consideration. They explained every option for my plan of care, from least invade to most invasive. Also the technology they have for scanning your teeth gives an incredible visual. Very happy I switched dentists!

Stacee Came here for more than 3 years because Dr Chang and my hygienist Kathleen were great at their job. But the front office is full of unprofessional, rude and greedy staff that finally drove me away from here. - They billed me wrong from 2022 through 2024 and made me pay hundreds of dollars more than I should have for cleaning. Every time I contacted them, they said they had to bill that way and there was no choice or change they could make. But when I changed to another dentist’s office, it turned out that I could pay much less for the same service, with much higher quality of customer service. - I made my appointment months in advance but they ALWAYS called me on the day of the appointment to ask me to reschedule it because they overbooked themselves. One time, I was supposed to have a surgery at 3:30 PM. They called me at 9:37AM, asking me to be at their office at 9:45AM for my surgery instead of the original time. When I refused, they retaliated by scheduling my next appointment with another hygienist even though my profile said “Keep with Kathleen only”. - Dr Chang was in charge of all my appointments from 2021 to mid-2022. Then they started giving me random hygienists who were very lazy and didn’t do a good cleaning (remember, meanwhile they billed these cleaning services at way more expensive price than the actual cost). When I said I was about to change to another dentist’s office, suddenly they became nice and asked Kathleen to take care of me. It was because of Kathleen that I stayed through 2024. But the nasty front desk staffer purposely took me out of Kathleen’s care. And that’s the last straw. - For my last visit in 2024 August, they had me go with a random hygienist again, made me pay 174 dollars just for cleaning, and blamed everything on me and said there was nothing they could do about it. - When I finally changed to a new dentist (gladly I did, and I should have done it way earlier), I emailed them and asked them to send my records over. I signed the release form. They confirmed they received it and would send the records to the new place. Of course they didn’t do it. It took more than a month and multiple reminders from the staff at the new dentist’s office for them to send the information. I’m not surprised. Considering how lazy, unprofessional, disrespectful and greedy they were all these years, I’m not surprised at all. Advice for Dr Chang: You’re a great dentist and I’m grateful for the things you did to help me. Please be careful with the people who work in your office, they taint your reputation with their behaviors. Message to Kathleen: I will miss you very much. Thank you for taking great care of me.

Yanyan Zeng Dr. Chang is an amazing dentist! He knows his stuff & is highly skilled, thus naturally earning patients trust & confidence! On top of that, he carries a magical vibe which makes you feel relaxed and happy :). Moreover, he is obviously a great teacher & owner - his entire staff are well trained, merticulous and sincerely warm & happy, and the office is super efficient - I have never waited for more than 10 minutes.

Logan Kocka TLDR; the staff are so thorough in dental exams and cleaning procedures, my dentist sounds like he got straight A’s in dental school, and I will keep coming back here for as long as I live in this area. Would recommend to anyone! I left my first visit here generally unimpressed and ready to look for a new dentist. The holes in the walls of the exam rooms were a little bit alarming and more importantly, the hygienist doing my cleaning seemed like it was her first day. They told me I had one very surface level cavity that needed filled and explained why (tacky). At check out when they asked if I wanted to schedule my next appointment I actually said no, and that I was not really satisfied with the cleaning. I wish they had asked me why- instead they just said “oh sorry to hear that, have a good one.” I decided to give it one more chance because of how knowledgeable and communicative Dr Alkhatib was and I also wanted my cavity filled ASAP. I did ask for a different hygienist, and have had my cavity filled and another cleaning or two since my first visit. I am highly satisfied with the level of care I receive here. Being someone who is very picky with doctors and dentists, this says a lot. My hygienist today was great (Kalina?) and again, Dr. Alkhatib seems like he reads dentistry textbooks for fun, which is something I love to see in a doctor treating me. He also does a great job explaining the what and why to me so that I’m both on board with care decisions and also empowered to take care/prevention into my own hands. He seems extremely intelligent and passionate about his work in dentistry. After going to the same dentist for the last 22 years before this one, the procedures followed at Greenlake Dental are more thorough and more patient-forward than my last place, which I loved very much. Greenlake projects my chart onto the screen so I can see X-rays, photos, other info. They provided me with lip balm today, which was new. They use an ultrasonic tool instead of a fully manual pick for cleaning. They do a full exam of lymph nodes, gums, both palates, neck etc which is more than any other dentist I’ve gone to has ever done. Today I was asked about high blood pressure because of the interaction of this disorder and its medication with your teeth health. This level of care is beyond what I’ve seen at other places and I’d recommend to anyone looking for a new dentist. Please fix the holes in the drywall!! They are unbecoming of a medical facility.

Ehsan Ghafari I’ve recently changed my primary dentist to this location and had my first visit. I have to admit that I am very satisfied with everything at this location. They are very nice, helpful and professional. Not only I’m happy with their customer service but also finally I had a crown with zero issues after the process (I have had my other crowns done somewhere else and I always had issues) I’m leaving this review since I think I owe them this. Alp Oztek TLDR: I recommend Omni Dental without hesitating for a second. Dr. Andy helped me with some problems I had with my 2 crowns right as I was about to go on vacation; he and everyone working at Omni Dental were incredibly nice, seeing me very fast after my initial inquiry and trying their best to help. Everyone was super nice (they saw me on a Friday afternoon and were apologizing because I, as practically a last minute add-on, needed to wait for a tiny bit whereas I should have been the one apologizing for creating extra work as the last patient added-on on Friday). My experience was super comfortable (nothing short of a miracle considering I have pretty bad dental anxiety and my body tends to not care about local anesthetic). Super nice people making you feel comfortable and doing great dental work - you can’t ask for more from a dentist.

Top notch, pleasantly personable & trust worthy; explaining what’s necessary & what’s up to my own discretion (procedures that may be more about aesthetics than oral health). Muneib Chater Dr. Tanner is a phenomenal dentist. Down to Earth, non-judgmental and very patient. I didn’t take care of my teeth as a kid, but started in my early 20s. I asked him a number of questions and he was always willing and patient to answer all of them. You can tell he’s a perfectionist at his craft. The entire staff at Seattle Sound Dental are great people- so friendly!

Chandira H All the staff were wonderful and kind, and went above and beyond. I’m a new patient, and they got me in for an emergency exam because I was in a lot of pain. I got x rays and a referral for oral surgery, and a prescription for my gum problems, all for $49! I’m a nervous patient, and they had baby goats on the screen as a distraction. Julie Feathers was amazingly kind and thoughtful, and very helpful. They don’t take Apple Care but found me somewhere who does, for my surgery, as I need a complicated extraction. Super grateful. I wish they took my health insurance because I’d go back there in a heartbeat for everything else! Thank you Best Dentistry!!

Anne Lambrecht I have been going to Best Dentistry for the past few years. They truly are the Best! I recently got laid off unexpectedly, and the receptionist was able to squeeze me in for an annual exam and cleaning the day before my insurance ended. During the exam they found a small cavity, they were able to fill-same day. I know this clinic is constantly busy taking exceptional care of all their clients. The fact that they were able to fill a cavity same day shows how much they care about what their clients are going through. Cheers to this business-I wish you many more years of success!

Due to my medical history, I have some physical limitations and anxiety, both of which are relevant to dental visits. Mimi Went here for the first time yesterday! First off the location is great if you want a view of the beach while you get your mouth worked on! Doesn’t hurt to have a nice view! Secondly, the staff were all great! From the front desk being super friendly and helpful to the DA being kind and very reassuring. The dentist themselves also was great, I had recommendations from her that were necessary and not from a viewpoint of wanting to sell another service. She also prevented me from having to unnecessarily do a procedure that in the past other dentists have been eager to get me to “fix”. I felt welcomed, heard, and assured. Highly recommend coming here!

Dr. Ko took excellent care of my dental needs, making the process of getting fillings and a night guard seamless and comfortable. Michael Delaney You know how you find a great restaurant and a particular dish you like and its hard to go and order anything else because its so great? Well in a similar manner, after having multiple wonderful experiences working with Dr. Laura (still at Green Leaf), I was hesitant to work with anyone else. I am really glad I did because Dr. Yoni was equally AMAZING and far exceeded all my expectations. From working with his nice, friendly, engaging assistants (I see you Angel and Alexis) to interacting with everyone at the front desk who are incredibly funny, helpful and super nice, it is actually an ENJOYABLE experience to visit the dentist. They just have really great people there. Also, FYI, if using the parking garage, do not pay. They have validated parking in the office, but make sure to know your license plate number.

James Carlin Just had my wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Johnson, after having a root canal operation done by his father a year ago. Alongside routine procedures done by the rest of the practice, my experience has been nothing short of amazing. The entire staff is extremely patient, knowledgeable, and skilled, and have been able to ease my anxiety each time I’m faced with an operation.

Kira Buck Dr Tran and Dr Johnson were both great! I was extremely nervous going into both apportionments and they both eased my anxieties. I needed an appointment and was able to get in within a couple days and even able to have a same day root canal. Dr Johnson’s assistant was the best! So nice and showed us pics of her adorable pup. She made me feel comfortable and explained everything very well. Andrew was also very nice! Explained everything with my X-rays and made me feel very comfort. Lindsay at the front desk was also super nice and helpful and answered all my nervous questions. Great office! I’d definitely recommend!
