Carey Chavez Danay has been cutting my hair for over 20 years! I have followed her from salon to salon over the years and it makes me happy to know that she and her business partner have their own salon now. I cant imagine letting anyone else style my hair. She keeps me looking my best. I rely on her to change up my style as trends change, and help me looking youthful and confident.

Paulette O Heidi does a great job cutting my hair. She listens to what Id like since my hair grows super fast, she always points out the pros and cons and lets me make the decision. Shes always right. I enjoy our conversations too. I try to support small womens businesss.

M. I am so excited to share and recommend Jamie at Mariposa Salon! I have been very loyal to my hairstylist but with my new job, I couldn’t get there without scheduling during my precious weekend. So I took to google and found a 5 Star hairstylist right in my neighborhood! And oh my gosh, ALL her reviews are spot on! Jamie listens to what you are saying about your hair and your lifestyle. She asks a lot of questions so everything is clear. She checks in on you as she’s styling. IMO my hair is easy to cut and style, so I thought I would be in and out of my appointment. It wasn’t because I was in a hurry, I just based it on past experience. My previous hairstylist washed, cut, blow dried my hair in 20 minutes. Jamie took her time. She made sure my stick straight hair was perfectly layered just like I wanted. Straight hair actually shows mistakes but because Jamie was very conscientious, my hair is moving and flowing! One more thing, even before the appointment, Jamie was very communicative and prompt. Thank you, Jamie, for doing an amazing job! I highly recommend Jamie and Mariposa Salon.

Sigma product 144 Eddy was my barber and he got my hair, more notably for me my beard, the exact way I wanted it. This guy has some real talent. Comfortable cut. Nice barber talk conversations and great focus. Will definitely be booking him again. Ive been coming to this shop since 2018 back before the move to this new place. Ive watched this place grow stronger through the years. Im enjoying all the new talents I see being produced here. Always will be my shop. Yareniz B Charly is the best! Not only does he do amazing art on hair but he is also very professional, honest, super kind and fun. I first saw him for a haircut which I loved and he then did my color. I wanted to go as light as possible but I was worried about damaging my hair and I wanted to stay within safe limits. Charly showed me concern and understanding and we were able to make it happen. This is the lightest my hair has ever been and Charly made it possible! I appreciate him so much for that. Chad Hardin Ive been going to this store in Kent and their other store in Renton for over ten years. Im always very happy with their attention to detail, friendliness, and good price. I always get my beard trimmed when I get my haircut as well because they do a great job.

Trevor Higbee My standards are basic, and they were met. I usually just get a buzz b/c my hair on top is very thin, but the last few times Ive gone to other places theyve managed to mess it up by not trimming correctly around the ears, or not fading well, or not completely getting all the little hairs, etc. ClipperCuts was great. The stylist was meticulous. Also, the shampoo was nice.

Hector Perez I had called in to check in see if they can take us in sooner from my appointment time and they did and they delivered a wonderful haircut and I highly recommend it.

Ruby Nagra-Basi Alrighty will be. It’s really hard to find a good hairstylist. Without paying $300 for haircut. This location is amazing. They were fit me into the schedule. I was in and out in 25 minutes and got a perfect haircut. I first got my hair colored here, but I’ve noticed that people who are in the salon chairs and just had their hair done. Super happy and the hair looks absolutely amazing. I brought my daughter here with me, their kid, friendly, and a quiet cute place. My little one loved their snacks. Very glad I came here as I’ve been looking for my new hair person for the past three years.

Morgan Kreckman I had the most amazing experience at William James the environment of the salon was so cute and super invite but what really made my experience amazing was my stylist Hannah she took the time to understand what I was looking for and help me achieve it. She also took her time in explaining what she was doing on my hair and some of the science behind the products she used. I really appreciated this over other stylists I see because it felt like I wasn’t getting sold into products that just don’t work. Hong Lam Elora Nails and Beauty Bar recently opened and I decided to give them a try. They provide an array of services. It is a very clean and trendy beauty bar. All of their equipment is brand new and feels luxe. I had multiple service - brows/lip waxed, brows tinted, and gel x nails (v trendy atm). I love how friendly, professional, and knowledge the staff is. I felt like a whole new and refreshed woman after stepping into Elora. Thanks for the experience today, I will be back!

Matthew Shull Wow, this place is pretty amazing. I am an Asian man (Asian hair). I came in with a terrible mess of hair and no idea on what would look "good". I didnt have a picture either. But one of the barbers (I think Joann?) did a super great job with me. She gave me full attention and genuinely cared about the small details of my hair. Shampoo and wash was also spectacular. She was gentle the entire way through and the customer service was also super good. But my gosh, the price was so great! Half the price of a haircut in Seattle. This is THE place to get a good haircut for a cheap price. Everything was a 10/10. Highly recommend :)

They always make us feel special, they do their best to remember customers names and if not, they remember things you talked about. They all are so friendly and so kind. They are really good with kids too (including my 2 year old who was a stinker for his haircut). I drive 40 minutes to come here, because I love the positive, happy atmosphere and customer service. I love giving my business to such wonderful people who truly care about their customers.

Eveny Cisneros I was excited to get my son his hair cut. He’s Only a 1yr old. There was two lady’s cutting hair but the one that attended my son was HORRIBLE… she was frustrated with him because he kept crying and I tried helping by holding my boys head and she pushed my hand away and said he’s a cry baby very rudely. She seemed very RUSHED and definitely seems like she didn’t want us there. This place is definitely NOT KID FRIENDLY! I don’t ever put bad reviews but this was a horrible experience. By the way it was not a good haircut.
