Matthew Shull: Wow, this place is pretty amazing. I am an Asian man (Asian hair). I came in with a terrible mess of hair and no idea on what would look "good". I didnt have a picture either. But one of the barbers (I think Joann?) did a super great job with me. She gave me full attention and genuinely cared about the small details of my hair. Shampoo and wash was also spectacular. She was gentle the entire way through and the customer service was also super good. But my gosh, the price was so great! Half the price of a haircut in Seattle. This is THE place to get a good haircut for a cheap price. Everything was a 10/10. Highly recommend :)
Hanh: Prices is outrageous, and I recently bought Biolage products thats good for my hair until I decided to refund from budget. A cashier at front desk gave me a receipt that says refund confirmed and should give me my money back in my bank account. I still dont see it after I opened my bank app. I checked everything this tells me they mislead me the entire time and I will never step a foot in Blue Island Beauty ever again not suitable for everyone unless spend alot more.
Carey Chavez: Danay has been cutting my hair for over 20 years! I have followed her from salon to salon over the years and it makes me happy to know that she and her business partner have their own salon now. I cant imagine letting anyone else style my hair. She keeps me looking my best. I rely on her to change up my style as trends change, and help me looking youthful and confident.

Vanessa Torres: Charly is the BEST in the area. When I tell you I’ve went to many hair specialists who could never master getting my hair blonde as a Latina woman, until I found him. He was able to achieve this with still keeping the integrity of my hair. Charly always goes above & beyond to make sure I love my hair before I leave his chair, ensuring I’m satisfied. It’s always a good vibe at his salon. Highly recommend him! If you’re struggling to find someone who can get your hair right, look no more.
