Its been 8 years since anyone has done wonders with my hair like this, and that was back when I lived in California! The products he used were an absolute game-changer, making my hair instantly healthier. Ive realized that the person I usually visit must not use the same quality products because of the night and day are difference. And the technique? Ive never seen anyone blend a partial highlight the way Marshall did. I’m already planning to work my hair appointments around seeing Marshall twice next summer. Even with the recommendations of connections here in Scottsdale, I have a feeling I’ll be chasing his level of perfection and skills for a long time!

He has a gem of a studio tucked away up on the upper floor of one of the beautiful old buildings down by the water. Raquel Noltemeier Melissa is truly a wonderful hair stylist. She is professional and knows what she is doing. I have very curly, yet thin hair. She knew exactly how to cut my hair and layer it so the curls give me lots of volume instead of looking thin and flat. She is also great with coloring hair and I have never been happier with the blue hair I have now. She added highlights to create more tones of blue since my hair is naturally dark brown.

Only one person in the salon at the time. She has a air purifier with HEPA filter. And disinfects between clients. Great experience!

faye beuby Leah did my hair color for quite a few months. Id continued seeing her in spite of her canceling on me twice--once not even showing up for one of my appointments. Cancelations are costly for me as I need to hire a caregiver for my disabled husband whenever I leave home. Though, the worst situation was recently when Id just been diagnosed with a very rare, deadly breast cancer. As I was about to begin chemotherapy, I wanted to have my hair in super shape--color-wise--so I could have it totally cut off & made into a wig for the year or more of losing all my hair. I left a message to that effect. However, no one had the common courtesy/decency to even call me back. Its so incredibly disappointing to have such indifference when one is going through such a health crisis...Id expected a tiny bit of compassion.

Alissa E I scheduled an appointment for a cut and all over color a month ahead of time. The day I showed up for my appointment I was told the hair stylist had gone on Christmas vacation. I explained that I was confused since I had text messages confirming this day and time for our appointment. She then said she had to leave for a family emergency and wouldn’t be back until after the new year. I absolutely understand emergency situations. I do not understand the failure to send a text or quick call to let clients know they should rebook their appointment . Overall, displeased with the lack of professionalism around the whole situation.

Marion Clair Leah was willing to "squeeze" me in for an emergency haircut as my usual stylist suddenly canceled a long awaited appointment and couldnt reschedule me for another TWO months! I have difficult hair and was nervous about seeing someone new. However, Leah did such a great job and did exactly what I asked her to do that I will become a regular client from now on.

S Walked into today with my brother because he was hoping to get a quick haircut. The first question out of Debbis mouth was asking if she had ever cut his hair before. We said no and she said stated that she wasnt accepting new clients. I guess we could have lied and said he had been a customer there before since she wouldnt have recognized us anyway. She said she needed to keep the space open for her regulars. There was absolutely no one else there and she was kicked back looking at her phone. We were thrown off by the big "walk ins only" sign outside. We are currently heading elsewhere, so much for keeping it local.

Eric Rhodes Debbie has been cutting my hair for nearly 30 years and its always just the way I like it. The cuts are quick and as requested. No appointments but the wait is never long.

Bruce Stapleton Haircut is great. But customer service is terrible. Debbie doesnt engage with you unless youre the only one there. If there are other "regulars" there, then forget it. She wont hardly even know youre there. So go there and get a haircut, but dont tip as the "personal/professional service is not there." I tipped today and I regret it. You should only tip for good service. Ive been going to Debbie for several months now, and I bet she doesnt know my name or wouldnt recognize me on the street.

Michael H The barber was friendly and the shop was pretty cute. I only had to wait for her to finish with one customer before it was my turn. Unfortunately the haircut turned out poorly. Many visible scissor lines in my hair and a couple of blotches of hair that were just left uncut. The lighting in the barber shop was too dim to notice before leaving. Ill be looking for another barber to fix this in a couple weeks when it has grown out a little.

Greg Sachs So disappointed in my haircut. I asked for the simplest cut. Just remove 1.5 inches around the ears and the back near the neck. She said, “so you still want it over your ears” and I said, “yes”. The girl takes way more off and then uses a razor the whole way around. We never even discussed buzzing the sides. Gave one extra star for her being friendly but come on, listen to the customers requests.

Rochelle Lamont Quick cut, with no care or skill in accomplishing the requested cut. Mixed up request - cut a lot shorter off the top than what was shown, and left longer on bottom than wanted. Then debated what was requested, not offering to improve the mess made when asked. Not recommended if normally wear a longer men’s hair style.
