    Dayna Campbell: Ive been a customer there for only a few months. I ordered checks when I opened the account when I got them a few weeks later they had the wrong account number on them. I took them into the bank and asked for them to be reordered. I went back to check on them a few weeks later and they had not received them. Apparently they had not been ordered. Finally I got my check order. I am using their online bill paying service. However, sometimes the bills dont get paid when theyre supposed to. This is really annoying when you want to have a bill paid on time. So far, I have been frustrated with their service. Their customer service hours are regular business hours so I have to wait until they open to call them. I only bank there because theres only a few banks in Port Townsend. My previous bank was in Sequim and I didnt want to have to go there every time I had to do banking. The other bank I had in Sequim was very good and I never had any problems with them. Wish I could go back to using them.

    Walter Vaux: The IRS did not have records of the withholding payments that were sent in from our brokerage firm. Aldryth OHara made two phone calls to the IRS and cleared the confusion. The IRS sent a letter saying that all had been resolved. Its nice to have a tax preparer who is experienced, knows whom to call and can quickly iron out a tax uncertainty.

Their knowledgeable staff helped our business weather the storm of the pandemic through two rounds of PPP loans. Thanks to their dedication to their customers and their knowledge of banking, their customers, us included, were some of the few local business that were able to take advantage of the 1st round of PPP funding. The same cant be said for other so-called "local banks." 1st Security epitomizes "community banking." Its like Cheers; everyone knows your name and theyre always glad you came! I know changing banks can be an arduous process, but do yourself a favor and consider transferring your accounts to 1st Security. You wont be disappointed!

    C. J. (Blue Jeans): Looks like this local branch took off early for the Vets Day holiday.. Ive called them multiple times since 2 pm, and they dont even answer their phone, it just goes dead or else it goes to a tape stating that they cannot answer the phone, (yet they are supposedly open!), due to some possible environmental disruption..NOT! They never are available when I need to ask them a question, even though I call during business hours listed on their website. When I finally got transferred to the national US Bank switchboard, they also had trouble contacting this US Bank branch, and could only tell me they have no idea why they are not answering their phones. Terrible service unless you dont care that they are so sporadically in operation!
