No waiting period at any time, staff were knowledgeable, and friendly and my dentist, she was the absolute best.. Intelligent, confident, looking to please and her friendly and sweet way, a real blessing to have found them, and I look forward to my appointment next week.

Beth Ashley I have severe anxiety when it comes to going to the dentist. I found Federal Way Dental online and went to my appointment. From the moment I walked in I liked the vibe and atmosphere. Dr Lang was amazing. Her staff are very friendly and understanding. Dr. Lang had to remove three of my front teeth, Ill be honest with you. My anxiety was through the roof, but Dr Lang took her time and was finished quickly. It was done as quick as it started. I would definitely recommend you come and see for yourself!!!

I was one of the last patient to be there and even though it was past closing time, the manager Ashna still made sure I got my cleaning done that day! Which was really nice since my schedule is already busy as it is. They made me feel at ease about the procedures and they made sure I was comfortable before during and after them. All of my questions were answered and Dr. Huang Thoroughly reviewed the medication’s. I was taking in my medical history. His review identified precautions he was going to take with my procedure. I had previously seen another oral surgeon who missed these details. I was very pleased and comforted with the Time and care he took with me as a patient

I was so scared and anxious about the procedure, but Angel, who administered my IV sedation, calmed me down and helped me through it. Liz Bit This is the dentist I go to! I have had lots of bad experiences at different places and I have always had a positive experience here. They are friendly, caring and gentle. If you dont have insurance they also have an in house insurance plan you can sign up for which extremely helps! I live in South Seattle now and still commute to this location to see my dentist and the wonderful staff here at the federal way bright now dental.

Linzy Moore Always a great experience here. Dr. Lee saved me from horrible experience I had a different dentist years ago. They are always so kind and accommodating. I have tori so it makes X-rays very painful. The x-ray was extra gentle to help accommodate. I am very appreciative for all the help and making the dentist a not so terrible experience as it has been in the past. The front desk team is also incredible! They are always so helpful when scheduling and rescheduling when something comes up in my schedule. 10 out of 10 for this entire crew!

Lisa Lewis Update on February 28, 2025: I received a letter from Dr. Brett Wallen, DDS in the mail today that states that he feels it would be best for me to seek care at another dental office due to this review. According to this letter my appointments have been removed from their calendar. And the letter features a big oopsie typo - its dated February 15, 2025, a full 10 days before my initial review was left. I am amending my review from two stars to one star for the office itself. Again, the hygienist I saw for all my appointments is a gem and class act. If I was only reviewing her I would be giving a 5 star review. I started going to this office in 2024 and I really like the hygienist I see. She is wonderful and kind, and did an amazing job on my teeth. I give her 5 stars! I saw Dr Wallen briefly my first visit and he was ok, but have had zero interactions with him after that. My two star review is for my experiences with the office staff. My appointments have been rescheduled multiple times by the office staff, both in 2024 and so far in 2025. When I had my visit in January 2025 I was told upon check out that I did not owe anything because it was one of the two cleanings my insurance covers at 100% each year. However, the office coded it as a periodontal maintenance appointment rather than as a regular cleaning. I was puzzled by this, so when the office staff called me this week to yet again reschedule my next appointment - which is months away - I inquired about the coding and the charges I now owe, since it differed from what I was told when I was seen in January. The answer I received was that all my cleanings would be billed this way from now on because my insurance required it due to the deep cleanings I received in 2024. She said if the office did not do it this way it would be considered insurance fraud. However, when I called my insurance they said that reply was partially true. If they did a deeper periodontal maintenance cleaning it needed to be coded that way but if it was a regular cleaning it could be coded as a regular cleaning even though Ive had deep cleaning in the past. I asked the office staff person what was different about my January 2025 cleaning as it appeared to be the same as any other regular cleaning Ive had - it was not a deep cleaning. I was again told it was all tied to the deep cleanings I had in 2024. She said I would always be coded as a periodontal maintenance patient because of the deep cleaning performed in 2024. I was also informed that there are some changes coming to the office in spring of 2025 with a new office manager coming on board. I am giving this office one more opportunity to wow me on all aspects of my visit. I moved my appointment to a summer date to give the office time to readjust to having a new office manager. It is my hope I will be able to continue to be a patient here but if my questions go unanswered and am offered half truths again I will need to take my business elsewhere.

I have found Dr. Nguyen and her team to be very caring and professional while providing excellent service. I never have felt that they were trying to work up a bill or anything nefarious like that. Today I had to have a crown put on, and I was originally treated by one of the newer technicians who is going to school full-time, working part-time in the dental office, and takes time to offer a personal touch while working with a patient. She is a lovely young woman. Farisali has grown so much in the last year. I have enjoyed watching her bloom into a professional young woman who enjoys her work and tries very hard to meet all the needs of her patients. Langh Muan Cing Super clean dental office I’ve ever visited! Front desk is really helpful. The back team is very efficient and knowledgeable. The dentists are above and beyond. You might probably not find any other clinics like this which really centers on effortful patient-care and quality treatments at the same time.

Amy Nguyen I recently visited First Smile Family Dental as a first time patient for a cleaning and to discuss molar extraction. The entire staff was welcoming and informative, which eased my dental anxiety. They patiently discussed my treatment options without pressure. When I called hours after my appointment and chose to be referred out for my extraction, they promptly processed the referral—on a Saturday! Their dedication and efficiency is hard to come by. Highly recommend!

Patty Hart Everyone was very nice. The dentist was very nice and knowledgeable. He quickly fixed one tooth that was hurting my gum and gave his opinion about other teeth and issues. I went for a second opinion and the X-rays from the previous dentist were blurry so he redid the X-rays at no charge. Wow! A dentist that isn’t money hungry. I love it!

They were able to get me in quickly and went the extra mile with a 3-D image of a tooth that was of concern to ensure they didnt need to extract it. I would send anybody I love here! The front office staff and the assistants in the back are also very friendly and efficient in their work.

I have been to so many dentists, none were willing to save my teeth, all they suggested was dentures, after the fact that most of my teeth have been pulled, as an only option. I truely recieve real care, i was even offered a blanket when i felt a little chilly. Another time, i actually fell asleep, during a proceedure, i have never done that before. They took care of me today in a timely manner, they were efficient, and kind, but yet professional.
