1 /5 Elaine Moralez: Worst banking experience ever after over 6 yrs of mostly positive experiences, last week when I inquired about a possible fraud transaction on my account not only did they not respond to the chat request, when I went to my local branch to figure out what was going on (since I couldnt log into my online banking or deposit my check or anything!) not only would they not assist me, they refused to even CASH my check for me so I could pay rent while trying to figure out this nonsense! So then I call and wait for over an HOUR on hold and the associated named jeremy hung up.on me! So I send a chat, Cassie M. Starts to help me then again when I ask to also make a formal complaint against Umpqua and tjeremy specifically , the chat just ended with no response. And I am not going to be treatsd like this from my bank of over 6yrs and will be closing my accounts an switching to BECU BC they are a WAY better bank and sill actually help protect my identity as well as help me when fraud happens instead of ignoring me
