Leslie McGehee: I was passing through Olympia on my home to Seattle & decided to stop by. Love that its open 24/7, love the new equipment, love how clean it is & really liked the spread out setup of all the different areas & equipment throughout the gym. Its obvious that it was very well thought out. I will definitely return when Im in the area again!

Maxwell Cousins: Just got a membership tonight, had my first lift right after, and loved it. When I walked in and asked for a tour, the lady at the smoothie stand dropped everything she was doing and immediately gave me a full tour of the place. She was super friendly and answered all my questions. When we went through the contract she was very thorough about all charges and fees that way I won’t be surprised if charges look different some months. I also received a very generous military discount which is always appreciated. The equipment is all in good quality and there is a very generous amount of weights from what I’ve seen. The men’s locker room is also getting an update which is always nice. Literally, the only thing I wish was different was the sauna’s max temperature. It gets up to 160° which isn’t bad but I was hopping for 200°. Would be super cool if you guys could do that lol Great gym though. Can’t wait to go back and try a smoothly.

Jackie Schramm: Just joined about a month or so ago. Really enjoying being a member here/working out. A lot of times I go to the gym in the evenings, and it isn’t overly busy, and has a very chill atmosphere. I can just put my headphones on and work out in peace. I never really have to wait to use equipment. Everything is always clean and tidy, and has nice locker rooms. And the owner Donnie and staff are awesome. Highly recommend this gym!
ATHENA FITNESS AND WELLNESS - Olympia
Alaycia Galvez: Always an incredible experience. I’ve been going to Athena off and on for a few years and LOVE the workouts and community. It’s such a positive and healthy vibe, and the instructors are really knowledgeable and GREAT at helping you modify. Best gym in Olympia!
    Alliance Athletics - Olympia
Rebellion1991: Im not a gym person, this was my first exposure to a gym and I went in expecting almost a sort of "gym bro" and was pleasantly surprised by the welcoming atmosphere. I got to talk with the owner about what my goals were, got a key and I was off to the races. The people here are friendly and welcoming to all newcomers. It doesnt matter if youre there for the first step on a journey or if you are a returning gym goer and there to pick up where you left off. The trainers are there to answer questions and the people are more than happy to sometimes just chat and have fun. Since I joined they have expanded and added a much larger area with more machines and options for your workout routine. You want to run? Want to go on the bike? Lift weights? Lift weights in other ways than just the obvious ones? They got you covered! I honestly didnt know there were that many ways to work out and the overwhelming amount of options was daunting for all of a moment before the on-boarding showed me what each one did and how most of them were used properly and safely. This place is amazing. Honestly Im half scared to go to another gym because it might not live up to the expectations this place gave me. The freedom to go in whenever, work out however long you want, and talk with some fantastic people is such a contrast vs what I expected that I hope this place never changes. They got lockers for your needs (bring your own lock if you want one) as well as a small fridge and microwave because...I dont know. Never opened it but you might to put in a drink for later. They have a rest area, water fountain with a place to fill up a water bottle, and plans to add more in the near future. The place isnt crowded YET and if they keep this up I more than expect them to fill up fast. Get here NOW and enjoy what I was too scared to start so many years ago. Alliance Athletics is a great place to work out and for the price ($69, nice) I honestly think it is a steal. They offer personal training and even group classes to dip your feet into the waters. Sign up and I hope to see more new faces here.

M J: Lovely experience so far. At first I thought this was an interesting concept and I was slightly skeptical, because I’m used to just stopping in at a gym and getting it done or never getting it done:) Orangetheory is great because there are classes with super engaging and friendly instructors that keep you motivated throughout and give you feedback on your workout posture. I am always confused if I’m doing exercises right, so this is very helpful! The staff is so willing to help and you have an app to keep track of your appointments, with a heart monitor to keep track of your exercise results. As a side note they have fun activities that keep everyone involved which is also nice, little activities, with cool prizes! And the workouts kick butt! I couldn’t be more thrilled I made this decision. Thank you Orangetheory for being here!
    Plum Street YMCA - Olympia
James P.: Moved into the neighborhood this week and looking for a gym to join. I walked in today to ask for a tour. Two front desk attendants, one helping someone and the other on computer. Neither one acknowledged me. I stood waiting for assistance approximately 5 min. No eye contact or greeting. The weight room is small and appears the floor space would get cramped if more than 20 people decided to lift at the same time. The place looks outdated. I was hoping a small local ymca would be a friendly welcoming place but this one is not.
Thrive Community Fitness Lacey - Lacey
Chris Smith: Thrive Fitness has been such a great place to work out! The staff is always professional, welcoming, and provides excellent customer service. I really appreciate how convenient it is to drop in for a workout—it fits easily into my day. But the thing I value most is the kids room. Being able to drop off my little one in a safe, caring environment gives me peace of mind and allows me a few uninterrupted minutes to focus on myself and get a good workout in. Thrive makes it easy to prioritize both fitness and family. Highly recommend!
    LA Fitness - Lacey
    LA Fitness
Michelle Bernstein: Wanted to give a shout out to Francis at the LA Fitness in Lacey. Its very rare to find people that go far and beyond to help people in customer service let alone give the kind of service with compassion. Ive been going to LA fitness in Lacey for quite some time and never thought in a million years I would be receiving the type of care and compassion Francis had offered me. I recently had been going through some hardships and had to decide whether or not I was going to be able to continue my gym membership. After many different options and considerations, Francis was able to go far and beyond an average representative. He was compassionate, understanding, and even took the time to hear my SOB story and relate on a human level with me all while me still wanting my gym membership. LA Fitness is extremely lucky to have this guy represent them. I hope they value him as much as I value his amazing customer service. LA Fitness needs to give this man a raise and a Bonus. Thank you Francis for being the G.O.A.T!!
    Fit Life Studio - Olympia
Maurice Sullivan: FitLife exercise is the most strenuous, injury-free, time-efficient work-out, effective across aerobic, core muscle/flexibility and reflex of all my continuous life-long streuous sports since grade school football, then 3-season team sports thru most education, then daily running, then marathons, then triathalons, then rock & high altutide climbing, and now FitLifes circuit training aka HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training). Owner Tessa and her trainers are ambitious for their clients, employ the best and latest equipment from weights to balls and push fun to the extent possible in the demanding 40-minute exercise among 10 to 13 others pushing themselves hard. Who knows if this fits the clarion call for "reverse aging" but it sure feels like it. A total of 3 sessions, 2 hours per week, hugely enhancing the other 166 hours. I would say: If you can do this, You gotta do this! In threee years, never missed a session unless out-of-town. Good for those at least somewhat fit and who are driven to improve, which they definitiely will!.
