Ruthy Bickham: Avoid this firm at all cost! I finally had some money together to go up against my estranged husband, and finally get some justice. I was seeking backpay in unpaid child support, and finalization to our decade long pending divorce from another state. They are all working remotely, it is not a bricks and mortar firm. I was unfortunately given Kate Stapleton as my attorney. My retainer was burned though instantly plus a couple thousand in invoices I paid out of pocket, desperate for some progress. You can honestly get better legal advice on chat gpt. When you try to close out they charge you close to $400 just to leave their "services". I dont know if they ever go to court. I certainly did not. I am in the same situation I was in before hiring them, only worse because Im out $12k+. Kate Stapleton told me I should talk to a pro bono lawyer after taking my 10k retainer. I cannot imagine her being anyones first choice for representation. Dont bother with a consultation! Take your money elsewhere! ZERO STARS, lost money and I dont have any proof that any work was ever done. No evidence of anything. They finally sent my some more detailed invoices, but no work done by my lawyer that I may be able to take with me to a real lawyer. In my situation the last thing I needed was a huge financial/ emotional blow at this time. I hope any woman in a dangerous situation, or anyone who needs actual representation sees this review and goes elsewhere!

We contacted Joshua and he was reasonably priced, even giving them a discount based on income. He was thorough, properly aggressive, and within days turned the tables on the dealer and their attorney. He minimized his use of the retainer, even refunding a large portion of it once the matter was resolved- to our great satisfaction and relief. I recommend him wholeheartedly. Attorneys are often the brunt of creepy jokes, but Joshua is one who doesnt fit the stereotype. He is exceptional at his trade, and best of all, if he doesnt know the answer to a given question, he doesnt pretend- he simply says he doesnt know, but will find out from another attorney who has more expertise on that topic. That is the mark of a fine attorney. Search no further.
