1 /5 Maya and Harel Cohen: I usually would not complain about jewelry stores and I have gone to Shane Co. in other locations and would typically have a good experience but I am just really upset about my experience today when I came to pick up my about-to-be husband’s wedding band after having bought it from another jeweler (or sales person in that location), I had Julia bring me out the wedding band that was ready for pick up. however, I honestly got really poorly treated when I wasn’t even offered a box or a bag for the ring I had bought for almost 2k dollars and have been paying for it for almost half a year by now. I had requested at least the certificate of authenticity that Julia seemed to not be able to offer as she repeatedly said she will send it over email when I was asking for printed certificate as that was always the norm at Shane Co.
Very disappointing, I don’t believe at all that this reflects the chain and not the location since usually like I said I would get treated just fine but today really left a bad taste in my mouth and I had to write about it.
On another note, I had a different jeweler at the store last time tell me my friend and I can bring third party jewelry to get service (basically fix non Shane Co products - for a fee of course) but while my friend and I brought in those products for Shane Co to look at today, Julia had refused to even have the technician take a look at our products without any hesitation, blaming it on the other jeweler at the store for telling us they could fix it…
I understand that this is not always possible but I had really hoped for at least a jewelry tech to take a look at it or get another opinion at the store, again very disappointing experience especially for the standard that Shane Co. usually upholds.
