I was seeking backpay in unpaid child support, and finalization to our decade long pending divorce from another state. They are all working remotely, it is not a bricks and mortar firm. I was unfortunately given Kate Stapleton as my attorney. My retainer was burned though instantly plus a couple thousand in invoices I paid out of pocket, desperate for some progress. You can honestly get better legal advice on chat gpt. When you try to close out they charge you close to $400 just to leave their "services". I dont know if they ever go to court. I certainly did not. I am in the same situation I was in before hiring them, only worse because Im out $12k+. Kate Stapleton told me I should talk to a pro bono lawyer after taking my 10k retainer. I cannot imagine her being anyones first choice for representation. Dont bother with a consultation! Take your money elsewhere! ZERO STARS, lost money and I dont have any proof that any work was ever done. No evidence of anything. They finally sent my some more detailed invoices, but no work done by my lawyer that I may be able to take with me to a real lawyer. In my situation the last thing I needed was a huge financial/ emotional blow at this time. I hope any woman in a dangerous situation, or anyone who needs actual representation sees this review and goes elsewhere!
