I consulted with a handful of attorneys prior to selecting Smith& White, but once I spoke to Derek I knew there was no comparison, I had found a great representative. I could tell he understood my case as an attorney but also a fellow human, and that dose of empathy told me he would be able to defend me fully (and significantly better than attorneys who would take the case and my money but might internally hold the view I should be charged too). I would highly recommend this practice. Going with them has preserved my record and rights.

After having spent so much of my life wrapped up in it i didnt think anyone involed in "The System" would treat me fair let alone be trusted. Derrick Smith is the Angel that changed that thought and provided me with the blessing God sent for me. From arraignment to the judge reading we the people...... and then her saying Mr. Oster you are free to go, Mr. Smiths constant Its gonna be fine (even though i didnt believe him) was by my side.
