Gahlwat Prince Extremely disappointed with M&N Auto Repair. I went to them with a sensor issue in my car, and instead of properly diagnosing the actual problem, they told me I needed major transmission work. They charged me $200 just to read an error code, which I later found out I could’ve gotten for free at any local auto parts store. The worst part? They didn’t even fix the issue. Just handed me the error and guessed it was a transmission problem. No real solution, no fix—just a waste of money. I ended up going to another mechanic, and they diagnosed and fixed the issue in just 40 minutes. Turns out, the problem was just a small seal that needed to be replaced—nothing even remotely related to the transmission. This shop clearly lacks the proper knowledge and professionalism, and I feel completely ripped off. I do not recommend this place at all. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Kristin Hall I normally hate the thought of going to a car shop because I always feel like an easy target because I know nothing about cars so when my car started to make a weird noise when I brake, I was dreading looking for a mechanic. I got a referral to M&N auto from a friend and my entire experience was amazing. When I called to set up my appointment the woman I spoke to I believe her name was Sarah was genuinely helpful and cared about my issue and wanted to get me in right away. When I arrived for my appointment. Sarah was training a new hire I believe by the name of Kayla, both of which were so extremely helpful and nice and talked to me through the entire process. Even Kayla being new only a few days on the job was able to completely explain to me the process what would be happening and how they would go about diagnosing my vehicle and I left my car in capable hands, knowing that things would be taken care of. When I arrived later to pick up my car, the mechanic stayed late just to take a test drive with me to make sure that he wasn’t missing anything, and Sarah went above and beyond to make sure that I knew all of my options for payment as well as what needed to be taken care of immediately versus what I could wait on for my car. I never felt any pressure and they did not try to sell me anything that I didn’t need. You could tell that they genuinely cared about their customers and just wanted to help I will definitely be going back to them as their pricing was fair and their customer service was excellent.

Paulette Deckers I took my Volvo XC 60 to Turn Key as I was having a strange message on my dash about my battery level being low and also around that same time my Key Fobs stopped working. Both at the same time. I thought that was odd and thought the two might be related. After calling both the dealership and several other auto places, I was referred to Turn Key. I am so happy I was, because they turned out to be just the thing I needed to get my situation resolved. They spent about a week doing some diagnostics on the car, putting the battery through different tests to figure out why the cars computer was saying the battery was low or was not charging even after driving and the battery test came back fine. They even called a Volvo Specialist to get the situation figured out. In the end they were unable to get rid of the message on the dash, but I was not worried as they had done everything possible to make sure the car was fine. The spent hours trying to figure it out and only charged me what they felt was fair for their service. Next time I have an issue with my Volvo, I will definitely be coming back to TurnKey!

chris rafanan As an Enthusiast, when it comes to anything automotive related, I am very particular and detail oriented. My father’s car was in a minor fender bender, and needed a minor refinish. This is a low mileage and clean car. Upon getting an estimate, the full staff up front, and the gentleman who looked at it was very personable, professional, and courteous. They saw how clean the car was, and he had his body guys and painter come out to look at it to make sure they were able to fix it the right way. Long story short, they did absolutely amazing. The staff is very friendly, personable, and fun. The body/painters did amazing with the work, and paint match was perfect. I’d definitely return to them if I needed anything done!

My marine engine heads were in bad shape because of failed exhaust manifold gaskets allowing saltwater in but he brought them back to life and ready to preform for many more years to come. a 58 James did two 2JZ heads for me with surfacing-full valve service, this was by far the fastest turn around time and best experience with a machine shop I’ve had out of the many! Awesome communication and a master of his craft. This is your guy for cylinder head work.

Story time: I went to Les Schwab in Lake Stevens for a pre-trip safety check before driving our family car across the country. They told me I urgently needed new brakes and tires — claiming the tires wouldn’t last much longer and the brakes were on their last legs. The quote was over $2,300. When I asked questions about the tires, brakes, and rotors, the only answers I got were, “I don’t know" and "I cant tell you until we start working." That didn’t sit right with me, so I started calling around for quotes. When I called Bucky’s in Everett, Jay answered and asked what was going on with my brakes. I explained nothing felt wrong — I’d just taken it to Les Schwab and they told me I needed new ones. Jay immediately said, “Come in — we’ll check it out for free.” I drove over, and they got me in right away with no wait. Jay and his team inspected the car in front of me while explaining everything as they went. It was educational and respectful. Turns out, my brakes aren’t even close to needing replacement — they’re not even squeaking, and Jay said with my driving style, I probably have a couple years left on them. Then he showed me the tires and said they were still in decent mid-life condition — totally safe for gig work and the cross-country move. Jay even walked me through what PSI I should use for the trip, factoring in extra weight and summer heat, the history of rotors, even Ohm’s Law during a battery/starter test, and everything in between. He told me he became a mechanic because he was tired of seeing women get taken advantage of in auto shops. TL;DR Les Schwab tried to charge me over $2,300 for work I didn’t need. Jay at Bucky’s Everett gave me honest, expert help for free and saved me a ton of stress and money. Manager Jay deserves a raise.

Christina Larsen My husbands truck died a couple times and got really shaky while driving. Were both not car people and lack that type of knowledge. So he took it to Buckys. We expected the worst, and after 2 hours of them looking it over thoroughly, they called and said it was a loose battery cable. They didnt charge us money. They could have said the engine was in need of whatever and we would have had paid it. How honest and generous of them! They still took a chunk of time out of their day, and they didnt charge us.
