Rob Leingang U2 I stopped in because I needed a simple battery install. I had the brand new battery but didnt have my tools with me. They said they could do the job which took a total of 9 minutes and I was charged for 1/3 of an hour. A simple battery install for $72 and Yes I brought the battery with me. I needed the job done in order to make sure I didnt get stranded with my kiddo. Long and short of it, they took advantage of the situation and me. You be the judge, but these are the type of ethics I avoid and pass on to my extensive network of consumers. Moral of the story make sure you have basic tools hidden away in your vehicle that are out of plain view and not a theft risk. For 72 bucks I could have bought the tools at harbor freight and gone out for dinner with my daughter.

Josh Fullerton Had a 2014 Ram Promaster that I couldnt get to start. I tried everything at my disposal. Seriously. Changed the starter twice, battery once, replaced the engine ground, added a second engine ground right to one of the starter bolts, swapped out the ignition relay... Etc. At my wits end, I made an appointment with A.D.S. Got the van towed to the shop, 3 hours later (might have actually been less!) I was picking up the keys! These guys are beyond awesome. No upsale attempts, no pushes for service contracts or maintenance agreements, just excellent work completed quickly. Highly recommend.

Oregon 54 First off, I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SHOP! Long review, but heres the deal. Hard to find a trustworthy mechanic that aint gonna nickel and dime you for everything, especially if they didnt do the work right, the first time. But based on my experience, Been here 3 times, first time to do a tune up essentially, A/C was my biggest problem I needed worked on. Worked for a few months then stopped working, took it back in under "warranty" since it hadnt been a year, diagnosed it, charged me for diagnosing, parts, labor oh, and apparently they forgot to install motor mount from the previous time, asked me if they can go ahead and do all that, well, what am I gonna say no, let me go to a different mechanic for them to do it "cheaper", no, my car was already there, take care of it. $600+ later. Mind you I went in there for them to do warranty work on my A/C! Left there, and a few weeks later, warm weather, turned on A/C and still blowing warm air. Ok, called Rutts let him know same issue, brought it down, they took a deeper look at it, blah blah, came out with what I took it ass a "f off" quote of over $2000. Now, why didnt yall come up with this diagnosis the first time? Ive been here 3 different times, paid over $2000 prior to have yall do work on my car, main issue was the A/C and to this day, still hasnt been working properly. Definitely not a trustworthy shop, and unfortunately hard to find good mechanics that aint gonna gouge you and be up front. Do your research, hard to get different quotes when your vehicle is already in a shop, but definitely do research and be ready to pay out the rear end. This is just based off my experience , I read their reviews prior to coming here and thought they’d be an honest shop, but nope, I was wrong! Will not go here ever again. I’d recommend Tall Guy Small Guy instead! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SHOP!

Marcus Harkins I took my mother’s 2021 Kia Soul in to fix and repaint the rear bumper after a little fender bender. They did a horrible job paint matching. On top of that, they refuse to repaint it because it’s “good enough” and have yet to call back after multiple attempts. I highly recommend going elsewhere if you want proper customer service. Take a look at the pictures and you be the judge if that’s 100% customer satisfaction.

Tanya Puente Working with Gerber collision and glass in Marysville so far has been less than satisfactory! While I do receive messages twice a week regarding my truck, I can never get any direct answer to a single question. They have had my truck for TWO months now, when I ask for an ETA I’m only told “I don’t know” or “there is still no ETA”. They finally got the parts and when I asked how long it will take to do the work I was told “maybe by April…” that means it’s gonna take a total of FOUR months to fix a front wheel?!? I had my insurance adjuster call, someone at the shop told them it would be done in 4 days… I was never told this so I called after the adjuster to verify and all I was told was “I don’t know anything about your truck so I can’t tell you when it will be done…” how does it take 4 months to fix ONE wheel? Even if it takes 2 months to get all the parts, how does it take another 2 to fix it? And why is it when I call/text to get updates not a single person in the shop can answer my questions?? The texting is supposed to provide updates and answer questions, but in 2mon I haven’t been able to get any clear answers! Then someone tells my insurance it will be done in 4 days, but when I call the shop no one knows?!? I’m a single parent with no car for 2 months already, and supposedly for another 2. It would be nice to get a STRAIT answer on what the hell is going on with my truck!

Thank you Gerber the receptionist Barbara helped calm my anxiety with the whole situation and Kelli was amazing when i arrived she explained everything as we did the walk around check & that there may be other internal damage which the estimate was pretty much on point to the original total but the team kept me informed & at ease!!! I honestly was worried about all the negative reviews on all collision shops but Gerber was amazing and i would definitely recommend them to family & friends

Troy Schuh Accurate Lines was recommended to me by my issuance agent after a deer ran into the side of 1993 Mazda RX-7 because of their high skill level. This was my first time needing body work and didnt know who to work with. This is a collector vehicle and exceptionally precious to me and they repaired it even better than it was before. Skyler Fussell I am surpised from the rest of these amazing reviews that my experience was not as great. Im not sure if it was because it was an insurance claim and not a regular paying customer. Accurate lines had my truck from July 25th to around October 25th. For a minor front end collision repair. For the $10,000+ invoice for my insurance you would think they would use new parts and pay attention to details. However, they used a used headlight on the passenger side that is cleary used (yellowing and scratched up already) There are broken undercarriage pieces still, the grill is not fully installed.. communication during the process was nearly non existent. I had called several times throughout several weeks; with no real answer. Only way I could get through was calling the north shop. Ever. After finally getting an answer on the whereabouts of the truck I told by one of the managers that they had a not so great time with my insurance agent on a previous claim, and said they had a hard time making contact. Instead of ghosting me and waiting for my insurance, they could have easily contacted me and had me contact my insurance to get the ball rolling. Which is ultimately what had to happen to get the truck back, in a wildly untimely manner. Disappointing when you are treated like the bad guy in a terrible situation of dealing with insurance and trying to help figure out your truck. Are you faced with the unfortunate situation of having to deal with insurance and getting your vehicle repaired? Look elsewhere for more support.

JJ Lynn We had a issue with our wiring for trailer connector plug. Called James. He worked us in (on a Friday) and was able to promptly repair it. He was professional, courteous and offered us a fair price for the repair. He is a local, small business and I definitely recommend calling him for any opinions on repairs!

J My 2016 Ford Escape was leaking coolant into cylinder 1. We took it to Canavans Auto Repair on March 26, 2024. I called the owner James Canavan on April 10 for an update. James said they couldnt find where the leak was coming from but was continuing to look for it. I called May 22 for an update. James said they couldnt find the leak and they were going to buy a special scope camera. I called on May 24 for an update. James says they cant find where the leak is coming from with the scope. At this point me and James mutually agree to leave the car with James, at his shop, while he researches for a remedy. Six and a half months ago buy with no updates from James. December 6th, Friday. We called James to discuss taking the vehicle home since a fix was not materializing. James tells me that just three days earlier he put Bars leak block seal in the radiator, idled it for 30 min. then drove the car 98 miles. Said it no longer had head gasket issues and passed the block test. We did not give consent to this, nor did he communicate to us he was doing this at the time. We went to pick up the car that day, Dec. 6. The check engine light was gone and everything seemed to be functioning properly with the engine. Paid him $1524 We noticed a dent in the middle of our rear hatch door that wasnt there prior to bringing the the car in. The car was in excellent condition with very low miles and no physical discrepancies. A very unique dent, not one that I imagine a vehicle would make. The dent is the size of the end of a slot screwdriver but pushed in over an inch deep into the metal, almost piecing the metal in an upward direction. Never seen a dent like it. When we pointed this out to James, he acknowledged he did not notice the damage when we brought it in but did notice it prior to us picking up the car. James said he would contact his insurance. I called James Canavan on March 7 for an update on the insurance, No answer. I left a detailed message. No return call. On March 17, I went down to the shop and spoke with James. Mr. Canavan tells me that because there are six other businesses in his proximity he cant be sure the damage was caused by him. James said he contacted his insurance, Travelers Ins. and they said the same thing. Regress back to the engine repair. The head gasket failed three days later, leaving us stranded. ***Update*** April 8, 2025 I called Jamess insurance company, Traveler Ins. today and spoke with Sylvia. Sylvia had no record of a claim being filed or any notes from James to his insurance regarding the damage to my car. Said she went back 1 year and sees no communication from James Canavan with them.

MUR KAT “FUN FINDER” I can’t recommend James Canavan’s Automotive Repair highly enough! This shop is hands-down the best place to go for car repairs. You can trust them completely, which is such a big deal. The team is clear, concise, and very upfront about everything. They’re incredibly easy to talk to and as honest as the day is long. About 10 people in my family rely on this shop, and several friends do too. None of us have ever been disappointed. Everyone has been more than satisfied with the quality of service and the professionalism here. The only challenge? Finding the entrance off Smokey Point! But once you do, it’s smooth sailing. If you’re looking for an honest, reliable repair shop, this is the one!

Jack Glenn Had my 97 F250s transmission rebuilt by Stryker. I typically do all automotive work myself due to all the dishonest & untrustworthy shops out there but Stryker couldnt be further from that. Had my truck done in one week and at a super competitive price. Even offered to throw in a rear main seal at no labor cost to me if mine was leaking. Highly recommend. (Was referred here by Bickford Ford & Eds Transmission Shop)

David GT86 I brought my truck in for a diagnostic for my transmission and everyone that i talked to was super nice, knowledgeable, and most importantly honest. saul ruiz Had a previous mechanic work on my car. The transmission had to come out when the work was done bolts were loose and unsafe. While drive notice a clunk sound. Mounting hole broke off. Brought it here they looked at it fixed with an aluminum block. Fabricated the hole after the weld. They looked over everything that could have been touched the first time. The owner was super friendly kept me in the loop. Everything he did was much appreciated.

Caren Pegram After spending almost $3k at another shop for repairs, still had the same problem. They said I needed powertrain repaired and a new power steering unit for another $2000 plus tax. Got a recommendation to take it to Aarons. After checking it out the powertrain and power steering unit were fine. The problem was actually a worn part within the engine itself. It cost $2300 total for Aarons to fix it. Had I gone with the other guys theyd have charged me the 2K then when I still had the same problem they would have charged me who knows what to actually repair what really was wrong (if they ever figured it out!) Wish Id taken it to Aarons to begin with. Honest, experienced, reliable local business ! I would give them a 10 star rating A+++ service and HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Pierre Guinchard These guys at Aaron’s took really good care of my wife and her vehicle. I’ve always been hesitant to go to mechanics as I have been screwed over a few times and my money taken and nothing fixed. I decided to give Aaron’s a try and spoke with Dwayne. Code showed a number of issues and Dwayne and the crew took care of me, cleared my vent sensor which was clogged with a bunch of debris. Gave my Chevy a good time up and she runs like a champ!! Very happy with the customer service and work done! Highly recommended and now a loyal customer. Shout out to Dwayne!

Duke Stain Unfriendly staff. Went in for a clutch replacement and to get a spark plug re-tapped. Got my car back. Clutch barely engaged until the pedal was all the way out making shifting difficult. Told me it was the first time they worked on my model car as well which was very unsettling after they completed the work Tried to get them to adjust it but they told me that its an auto adjusting clutch. They were very combative when presented with complaints. The older gentleman was nice, but the younger guy is a straight douche. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Robert Smith Ive used them several times and it just keeps getting worse. Had my 7.3 f350 towed in on April 21. Hard start,rough idel ,engine light.They said they couldnt get to it thay week but next week. Next Friday comes no call so I called and they told me they were to busy to work on it. Try back the following week Friday, Same answer. So then I let it go for 2 weeks and call. She picks up and Says sorry we are short handed and havent got to it. I tell her its been 4 weeks and you havent even looked at it to tell me whats wrong. I need my truck looked at. She said its first in line forMonday, whatever that means. So we roll onto week 5 Friday, I call and she goes oh yea we got it in all injectors are good we need a diesel injection control module and vavle cover gaskets. Ok do it. Week 6 comes and nothing. Week 7 Monday I call and she goes its in but we need to test it Ill call you in a couple hours. Calls...... its done.......total$1449.... A 1400$ job took 7 weeks to complete absolutely horrible . You will never work on my 2002 7.3 again. Go to diesel doctors!!!!

John Wallace They had my truck for almost 3 months. When I got it back the transmission did not last a week. When I took it in for warranty service they had it immediately repaired, At least I thought so. Now when I want to drive my truck it has to warm up in neutral for around 10 minutes before it will work. When I reported this to them they said it was not there problem and they could not do anything. Funny because it never did this before them. After they were done it leaked trans fluid from multiple places. Needless to say it never leaked before. If I could afford it I would take them to court. Do not go to this joke of a shop. Update: My transmission made it less than 10 thousand miles before it died. Now less than 2 years later Im forced to have it repaired again Do not waste your money using this shop

Kathy Leicester Trust these guys to give you the best service. I needed an emergency brake job. They got me an appointment immediately, and diagnosed and fixed the problem in two hours. The price was fair, and the service throughout was as if I were a treasured family member. Its a very masculine place, so for us ladies its very reassuring. I felt like I had four brothers who were all mechanics, and were determined to take the best care of me and my car. Heath, Jake, Brian, and Peter (the actual mechanic) were fabulous. You wont do better than these guys.

James A. Loaris Jr. Great service but youll pay for it. Follow up.... Let me clarify. I had my oil changed at Jiffy Lube the time before last. I was just shocked to find out that the dealer charged me $83.15 more than Jiffy Lube. I am more than happy to pay extra for the dealer to do the job, but damn. It was well over double the price. To top it all off, there was oil all over my starting wheel and floor mat when I got back in my truck. One last note. I was told that my cabin filter needed changed. I just smiled knowing that I changed it less than one month ago. Ive bought the last four cars of mine here and love the sales people, but.... In a nut shell, if you want a cheaper, quicker, cleaner job, look elsewhere.

Scott Thompson Sales was great. Shop not so great. Purchased new tires and they wrote the psi on the side with chalk and I had to scrub it off. I had them do an oil change. I decided to check it before going on a long trip and found that they put to much oil in the engine. And I found a dent on the hood. Im guessing it is where someone just threw there tool on it. The truck is a 2025.

Rebecca West Larry and Amy in reception are lovely, charming, and knowledgeable. Made me and everyone coming in feel welcome. Great telephone personality. I spent all day at the shop (because I had to wait for my daughter to get off work) and got to witness the care they give everyone. They showed me the parts they were replacing and explained the procedure. Excellent experience. Thank you.

My car was making a very loud vibrating noise while driving and they took the time to check everything out before giving me the details as to repairs. While its a costly repair, pricing was reasonable/market rate for the type of service, and they had my car ready the same day that they started the work. Will definitely be back for future work and will recommend to anyone that might need car service. Thank you!
