Eric Gladsjo 23 years ago I purchased my wedding ring at Kay. I bought the extended warranty, and paid an additional amount to have the hollow ring filled in with gold. I later took my ring in for repairs, and was told my hollow ring was too damaged to be repaired. I inquired about the fee I paid to have it filled in, and after investigations, found that the fill work was never done. So they refunded me the cost of the gold fill that never happened and returned my damaged ring with their apologies. No offer of new ring, no refund of original purchase price, no refund of “lifetime warranty”. So now the token of my wife’s love sits on a shelf a large hole marring it’s once perfect look, never to be worn again. I called recently to see if there was anything that could be done, and they told me it has been too long, and offered their sympathy and apologies anew.
I would STRONGLY recommend you go elsewhere to get the tokens for your vows.
