Austin Baker My wife and I have been attending DCC since 2021. We have had an amazing experience. They are a truly Gospel-driven, Christ-centered growing church. Their classes they offer for people exploring Christianity or pursuing membership were well put together. Its wonderful to join a growing church in the heart of Seattle. They offer many great community groups for anyone living in all the different neighborhoods of Seattle. I cannot say how grateful I am for Pastor Adam, Pastor Luke, Pastor Ruben, and all the rest of the staff there!

Alex Matheson It was a pleasure visiting St. James Cathedral in Seattle. It is especially beautiful with the spring explosion of flowering trees! This Cathedral was built 1905-07 in the renaissance revival architectural style. The central gnome collapsed in 1916 due to heavy snow, and was replaced with a flat roof featuring a skylight. Renovated in 1950 and 1994, this cathedral is clearly well maintained and cared for. It is rightfully designated as a city landmark and is well worth a visit if you get the chance. This beautiful cathedral is well-known for its community outreach and the services it provides for those in need. Entrance is free, there is plenty of paid parking in the area, and there is no public access to the towers.

Jeff Pizanti Catholic cathedral near the Archdiocese bldg. My first visit to the cathedral was for an ordination mass the Sat before Pentacost. I attended with a large group (16 people in 4 cars) from our home parish (an hour away). We parked at Mother Cabrini Medical Tower. Mass was beautiful & if I lived closer, would happily attend there regularly. Peace be with you!

Joshua Fagan I stumbled into this cathedral by accident while wandering around volunteer park, meandering through the many roads of these old neighborhoods, but I was stopped and all and amazement when I saw this church. There is a sense of reverence and devotion that simply exudes from the ground of this building, which are kept with an elegance and thoughtfulness that I greatly appreciate. The architecture is also impressive, even though it differs significantly from the towering Gothic grandeur that one typically associates with great cathedrals. With the geometric forms and the use of modern materials, there is something very West Coast mid-20th century about this building. I could look at this instantly and say about when it was built and where it is located, even if I had never seen it before. That does not mean that the building is "dated" by any means: there is a forcefulness and energy to the modern design that synthesizes well with the use of arches and more traditional elements of religious architecture. The architecture and the grounds facilitate this more direct and intensified connection with the divine, and as such, the site feels both appropriate and thoroughly sublime.

Frances M I am from Alaska and while visiting Seattle I attended the 7:00pm Easter service. The atmosphere was radiant, the people were welcoming, and the songs were not only beautiful but powerful. The sermon was so moving, it touched my heart and left me in tears. The stories and testimonies shared were inspiring. This church community feels like a family, they treat everyone with love, compassion, grace, and tenderness- no-matter who you are or what you believe. They embody everything I could ever want in a church. I was privileged enough to witness and celebrate someones baptism. The love, the joy, and the kindness in this church was something I had never felt before. Every interaction I had was sincere and felt personable. They truly made me feel at home. Thank you Mosaic Community Church for this memorable and joyous experience. I will certainly return here the next time I visit Seattle.

Brandon White So I have to say... I went to Central ComAmunity Church last Sunday for my first in-person worship service, and it was amazing! I was walked in by staff and shown where to sit, got some coffee, and then went to find my seat in the back row *new guy move* and then almost divinely, the Pastor (Jeff) was the FIRST person who walked up to me and introduced himself. I let him know id been watching online for a couple months, and have been skiddish about church and he was super polite, asked about me, and made me feel at home. Brett, one of the church patrons, was also very nice and offered to let me sit with him which was really cool. Pastor Jeff gave an amazing sermon on the fruits of the spirit (Galatians 5, which was great by the way with prayer, song, and exegesis of scripture). After service, the other patrons of the church Hailey, Emily, & Mackenzie *hope i got that right* were super kind to me and told me about bible studies, and baptism, and made me feel very welcome. I ended everything giving the pastor a fist bump on the way out, and told him the sermon was great. I HIGHLY reccomend this church for anyone in the Seattle area looking for a loving community, that learns properly from the Word of God. AND i can confidently say, that I have found my home. Amen!

Andrew Trent Not a place to teach your kids about worship. If you want to dump them in a playroom until they’re too old to develop an authentic relationship with God, then start ramming polemics down their throats as teenagers when its too late to make a difference, great place. The purpose of UPC is apparently for old people to enjoy a spiritual delusion of holiness.

Everyone engages deeply with the text of the Bible and the pastors are both very knowledgeable about the stories, the people in them, the history, and the spirit. The congregation itself is welcoming and open-minded and focused on community service like breakfast for our neighbors, activities for parents and their kids, and more.
