5 /5 Tricia Jacobs: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Might be one of the best-smelling restaurants I’ve ever walked into! My friend picked The Black Sheep for lunch and told me, “We’re having tacos!” She knows Mexican food is my favorite, so she had me at tacos. And honestly… the name Black Sheep is genius — I couldn’t wait to try it.
From the moment we walked in, the vibe was completely my style: brick, wood, warm lighting — cozy, modern, and so inviting. I ordered the fish taco and the carne asada taco, and I can’t even explain how good they were. Absolutely delicious! We shared guacamole and queso for the table, and both were outstanding.
Everything tasted incredibly fresh, high quality, and thoughtfully prepared. The staff was friendly, helpful, and the whole place felt well-run and well-loved. I truly can’t wait to take my family here.
On the way out, I noticed their vending machine — not your typical machine at all! It had useful items plus some local, handcrafted pieces. A blinged-out lighter caught my eye, and of course I was happy to support local while working in Bellingham for the day.
Five stars isn’t enough — thank you, Black Sheep, for such an amazing lunch and experience. I will definitely be back!
