Carvers Cafe - Anacortes (WA)

4 /5 Alyse Weyer: Food was priced reasonably. The server was fantastic and helpful. The 5 dishes we got were very tasty. Clam chowder could of been thicker with more clams and would have been nice to have oyster crackers. The hot turkey dinner was a little weird. The turkey was deep fried I think but the plate size was huge. Western burgers bacon was perfect. Their bacon is very thick and largely portioned.

1 /5 Casey Wilson: So much to say about this place. Brought us a burger still mooing. Literally. Pink all the way thru . When we mentioned to take it off our bill since it was completely uncooked and for the wait time on a new burger, the supervisor told us no. When they brought the new burger out it was made with veggies my husband is allergic to and had originally asked not to put on there. No apology. Nothing. Really disappointed but don’t really care. We know now where not to go when we want to eat out.

5 /5 Douglas B.: This my friends is what we call "THE sandwich!" A FANTASTIC old fashioned Club with the holy meat trifecta of Turkey, Ham, and Bacon (with extra added) on toasted sourdough with the BEST French fries in western Washington. Pleasant service, fair pricing, and high quality.

2 /5 Andrea Graham: We unexpectedly stayed in town for Thanksgiving so we took a chance after reading good reviews of Carvers Cafe for their Thanksgiving dinner special. The server brought out our salads which looked like it had been put under a heat lamp! When we asked for new plates she actually asked us "Wouldnt you like to taste it first before you send it back?" Uhm.... NO thanks. Then she copped a total attitude when we refused to eat it. The turkey dinner came next which was horribly bland and was maybe lukewarm at best. The pumpkin pie was good.

2 /5 Dragonhorse Racing: Mushroom burger was dry as a bone. Bun sat on the grill 10 minutes too long. Bottom was like a burnt crouton. The beef could suck all the flood waters from the valley and it would still be dry. Friends chicken sandwich had the wrong cheese. Fries were good but super skimpy. Side salad is crap. Service was non existent.
