2 /5 Levi: Esthers is a place I found by GPS passing thru. Mexican food sounded good so the whole family stopped in.
The first thing we noticed (at 12:30 lunch hour) was that it was empty. Never a good sign. I thought they were closed, no music, no one manning the counter. Finally the lady came out and gestured to a table without saying a word.
We sat down and ordered, they gave us chips and salsa for free as an appatizer, and I ordered a chicken enchilada, no onions.
Food was ready in 5 minutes. We didnt smell or hear it and We were next to the kitchen. When it arrived it looked good, smelled good and was large portioned. Then I bit into it.... Turkey. Asked my girlfriend, turkey. My nephew, turkey.
Annoying but I ate it, and surprisingly turkey enchiladas are really good. Nobody else complained.
They gave us free desert as well, and we cashed out with leftovers for $23 and change.
Scoring
Atmosphere. I felt uncomfortable and like we inconvinienced them. Didnt greet us, didnt talk to their only customer, waved at us to pick a chair. 1 star.
Food quality: Good, and fast but not what we ordered. 2 stars.
Pricing. Affordable. 3 stars.
Overall. 2 stars. Id eat there if I was too lazy to cook, but would rather make it myself.
