3 /5 Sofia FloressC: The place is really nice, the food tasted good, and the servers were friendly. During the rush, we waited about 50 minutes to be seated, which was understandable. Unfortunately, my food arrived almost half and hour after my friend’s food, so I ended up eating brunch by myself at the table while they had already finished.
It’s important to keep the timing of dishes in mind when serving a table, because it’s not a great experience when one person is eating and the other has to wait that long. Maybe it was a misunderstanding, but I didn’t receive a clear apology for the inconvenience the response was simply, “Sorry, let me check.” I ordered huevos rancheros over easy, not a well-done steak, so the delay felt excessive.
At one point, I even said I didn’t want the food anymore, but the eggs were brought out anyway. Of course, I paid for them because I wasn’t looking for anything free. I just wanted to enjoy brunch with my friend, that’s all.
The vibe was really cool, but the long wait time for the food wasn’t worth it. If you don’t want to wait that long, I’d recommend avoiding weekend brunch hours.
