Lombardis in Bellingham - Bellingham (WA)

3 /5 Francisco Santiago: In general its a nice restaurant in a nice area. Service was just ok. I was seated immediately but thats as fast as the service was. After being sat down it took 15 minutes for a waitress to come check on me to start service and the restaurant wasnt packed. My order also took longer than desired to come out. I had the grilled salmon which I found the presentation was good but the taste was just ok... not $35 dollars good..Just ok.. for a 35 dollar plate I shouldve had an explosion of flavor in my mouth which wasnt the case. I couldnt finish the Lombardi coffee as it had too much Amaretto on it and it was just overpowering everything. When I left not one single manager or hostess said goodbye or thanks for coming. They looked "too busy" and the place wasnt even packed. There was Zero wait time. Oh yeah! And they dont leave the "tip" completely up to you, they add a 4% automatic "service fee" so I discounted that 4% from my tip which was still generous for the type of service.

4 /5 Isaac Morris: Relatively four stars. Good across the board but not great especially when you’ve been around to great Italian restaurants. Waiter seemed to be relatively new ish just by way of interaction. A few slight tweaks to his approach would have seen his tip increase by a good margin. Appearance and aesthetic of the restaurant was great, but quality of food not so much. Chicken parmigiana was soggy and the portion of pasta was measly.

5 /5 S King: This was my first visit to Lombardis and the experience exceeded all expectations. The menu is quite varied and there is something to please everyone. Each person in our party ordered different entrees and all raved about their meals. The food was fresh, hot and flavorful with generous portions. The staff was friendly, welcoming and very professional. They provided exceptional service. The decor is very pleasant with plenty of seating indoors and outside with a lovely view of the marina. Lombardis is a perfect place for a romantic evening or special occasion or just to enjoy drinks or a meal with family or friends. I highly recommend Lombardis.
