1 /5 Kurtis: Went midweek with a group of five. Service was quick at first and the food came out fast — but that’s where the positives ended. I ordered the bacon-wrapped burger ($20), which was small and average at best. The bacon wasn’t fully cooked where it overlapped. I chose the house chips instead of fries — about a third were limp, oily, and undercooked.
I also ordered the boneless buffalo wings (5 for $10). After eating four, I realized they were raw in the middle — barely cooked past the batter. I showed the last one to staff, and they apologized. I had already paid at the counter when I placed the order, so I asked if I could just swap them for a beer instead. I was told no. Then we waited another 20 minutes with no service at all for another drink.
The rest of our group didn’t fare any better — calzone, pizza, Philly cheesesteak, and a cheese-stuffed burger that was still raw in the center. No one enjoyed their food, and considering the prices, it was frustrating. For reference, the photo of the undercooked wing was taken 15 minutes after it was cut — the pink center had faded some, but it was much more vivid when served. Flat raw chicken.
We ended up walking straight across the street — and the difference was immediate. Bigger portions, better beer, better prices, excellent service, and fully cooked food that was really, really good. Save yourself the trouble and eat there instead. This was an expensive and disappointing mistake. Im glad I didnt get sick. We won’t be back.
