5 /5 Samantha A: What a gem! This restaurant was warm and welcoming from the moment we walked. I was spotlessly clean, with attentive and friendly service throughout our visit. My husband was especially impressed by the abundance of gluten-free options, all clearly marked on the menu, which made ordering easy and stress-free. We enjoyed a wonderful lunch paired with some very good wine. We ordered the teriyaki chicken plate and the caprese salad, and both dishes were thoughtfully prepared with fresh, high quality ingredients. Everything was well-balanced, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Overall, it was a relaxed and enjoyable dining experience, and cant wait to return.

5 /5 Tara Velan: They are just rad. A new business with a vision that is sure to become an even more popular spot — with this menu? Wow. EXCELLENT panini sandwiches! And Nikki knows how to make a delicious and authentic teriyaki — if you want teriyaki in Port Townsend this is the spot — I also highly recommend the Filipino style chicken — had this at one of Nikki’s pop-ups before they officially opened the business. Also, let me add this important point: the prices on the menu here reflect the current cost of overhead, staff labor, and ingredients. The prices of every restaurant in town will likely increase in the new year as well. I know this firsthand because I also own a cafe in town — we have been facing whopping tariffs on green coffee and tea, rising cost on almost all imports and small farm/organic produce and food. We also have additional costs for all of our equipment parts and appliances. Simply put, if you are visiting the west coast, expect to pay west coast prices. This is what it is in 2025, folks — and if it’s not in your budget, maybe next time! Yum yum yum to Nikki and team. And happy new year!!

3 /5 Avant Lard Travel - by Houston Porter: Im not sure why the ratings are so high as we didnt have the best experience. First off, the food is fine (we had two sandwiches) but the price seemed too high for what we got. And the plates were quite plain. ...just the sandwich, nothing else. Maybe had there been a small handful of chips or salad, we would have felt differently, but when were saying to ourselves, "that would have been good, but at a lower price" then clearly something is throwing us off. (Also, $3.50 for a can of Coke and $4 for a can of bubbly water seems a bit extreme, but we werent really thinking about that when ordering, because we assumed, based on the reviews, that we were going to be quite happy with the experience.) And as a professional food writer for a decade, I get that food, labor, and rent costs have gone up but again, we cant help but think that with just a little bit of improvement, we wouldnt have been so bothered by the pricing. Pricing aside, the chicken pesto sandwich was actually very good, which the Reuben was good, but the delicious sour kraut overrode the pastrami because the proportion was out of balance (not enough meat) and the dressing was virtually non-existent. Port Townsend has a lot of great restaurants and we wish this place the best, but it may be a while before we try them again because this experience simply didnt live up to expectations.

5 /5 Julianne Wilder: We were so excited to try Nikki’s and it lived up to the hype! The matcha latte was delicious (they offer oat and almond milk versions), and the cubano hit the spot. Great vegetarian/vegan selections as well. The staff were friendly and accommodated my food allergies.
