4 /5 Chris Forhan: Conveniently located close to SeaTac Airport and packed with flavor, Sharp’s Roadhouse is a great option for a meal and a drink—whether you’re a tired traveler, a hotel guest, or a family looking for good food. My experience was made even better by the attentive wait staff (thanks again, Casey) and the warm, welcoming atmosphere. With both open tables and booths, there’s ample seating, and the low lighting with electric candles adds a cozy touch.
For food, I indulged in a small plate of brisket tacos and the Brisket Mac and Cheese with mushrooms. The tacos are divine, and I highly recommend pairing them with a good beer. The flavors are wonderful, enhanced by a bright avocado salsa. They can be a little messy, so keep a napkin handy.
For my entrée, I chose the Brisket Mac and Cheese topped with mushrooms. It has a rich, cheesy flavor with just a hint of heat from the Fresno chiles. The sauce was slightly grainy—but still tasty enough that it didn’t detract from the dish. The brisket adds a smoky touch, while the mushrooms bring an earthy umami note. Customize it or enjoy it as-is; either way, it’s a satisfying choice.
Overall, I would highly recommend Sharp’s Roadhouse as a great place to grab a bite before your flight.
