1 /5 Monica N: The food was always mediocre at best. But today we had a horrible experience. I went to buy a Boba drink and the total was $16.50 something so I said "is that for 1 drink?" And the lady said "yes for 1" I have bad anxiety and hate conflict, so my mom went over to confront them and say I need a refund since its only supposed to be $7.50 plus tax. The lady in Spanish said she knew I wanted 1 but didnt speak English to tell me. She had to call the owner to get a refund. It took about 20 minutes for all of this. She knew I wanted a drink, charged me for two, and when I asked if she was charging for 1 she said "1 drink, yes." The owner did come and refund but this was a horrible experience and wouldnt recommend.
I speak Spanish, she didnt try to even try to speak to me. She spoke to me fine in English. When I asked a question she said "yes, 1 drink" but later told my mom she doesnt speak English. She is using a language barrier as an excuse for her mistake.
