Tav - Ellensburg (WA)

5 /5 Scott Patton: The Tav is an Ellensburg institution that doesnt seem to have changed in the almost 20 years Ive been coming here. The food is good but nothing special with the Supermother being a highlight. The beer and drink selection is good but definitely very small town college bar. The best part of this place is the fact that its a welcoming small town institution that remains a constant in a changing world. Worth a stop if you are in town.

5 /5 Victoria Bush: We had the special of chicken fried steak with sausage gravy and garlic mashed potatoes. Unless youre a competition eater DO NOT GET a large the next time they have it. It was extremely good. Even is i dont agree with the sausage gravy on anything but biscuits and hasbrowns :) Service was quick and friendly. This was our second time here and it was just as good the first time. We were hungry and did not take pictures. :(

5 /5 Christi Carey: Liam was a very attentive server throughout and took us to a small room to watch the Seahawks game and then continuously checked to see if we needed anything. Other servers also checked in. Reuben was excellent with lots of condiments. Great place to relax and eat. Good coffee, also.

4 /5 Mojo Oggi: I love the nostalgic feel of the decor - its like stepping into a bar from the 1990s with its heavy wood accents, dark theme, and lots of memorabilia on the walls. The cozy booths are perfect for enjoying a few beers or a quick lunch, and when the weathers nice, I like to hang out on the back patio with its inviting tables. The food is pretty good for a bar - the salads are always generous and packed with fresh ingredients, and the burgers are tasty. Sure, the appetizers are mostly fried bar food, but they hit the spot. Whether its for a bite to eat or a few drinks, its a nice spot. The service is decent too - not overly friendly, but good enough.
