The Spar Restaurant & Bar - Cathlamet (WA)

5 /5 The Flannel Camper: We were out for a family drive from Hazel Dell and decided to stop in and try this place out, what an amazing restaurant. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by friendly staff and seated. The place has a great feel inside, tons of ambiance. The wife and daughter split the "special of the day" rice bowl dish (too many items in it to list), we also got a side of smoked macaroni and cheese. My son had a cheese burger while I had the Rodeo burger. They came with homemade fries. Everything was perfect, the burgers were cooked perfectly. The macaroni was delicious and creamy, the cooked to order fries were very good. While we waited for our food, we loaded up the jukebox and played a round of pool. This place is totally awesome and worth the short drive from the city.

4 /5 Lisa P: This is a fun, local spot to get a decent steak and drinks. The layout of the place is a bit disjointed but its hometown charming all the same. The prices are fair. The portions are good. The drinks are tipsy like the bill. I enjoyed myself and will be back.

3 /5 George & Heidi Badger: We use to love Spar food. While the chowder was tasty it was served cold. The noodles sauce was good, the noodles were about 2 minutes undercooked. Fish and chips tasted fine but gave us horrible heartburn, maybe the oil was old? Since the prices went up, I dont think we will go back.

4 /5 Jesse Steele: We came to the Spar Restaurant & Bar for a quick lunch and were the only ones dining! Service was great. French dip was fantastic. Chicken sandwich was a chicken strip between buns and could have been better. Garlic fries were okay. We would maybe come back here again for some billiards.

5 /5 Linzie Stamp: We had a wonderful lunch - the homemade pulled pork was incredible, as was the nachos and macaroni and cheese. The coffee was hot and smooth. Very good. We got great service from Earla (I apologize for probably butchering the spelling). Everything was clean and well maintained. If we lived locally this would be a regular spot for us.
