Bandit revolts One of the worst auto-body experiences in my life. Your car will sit for months and come back to you with the worst orange peel paint ever. Brought a car in after hitting a deer and this man couldnt even line the panels up right (I didnt have to bang out any dents as I bought new body parts ) just needed to be installed and painted. I will never go back here and I highly recommend you dont take the chance with Neil.

Jordan Larson I was visiting the Seattle area and got lightly backed in to. I took my car to resistance auto design to fix the minor ding that resulted. He (the owner I believe) cleaned it up and put some touch up on and had it looking new. He didnt charge me anything! So I strongly recommend because I believe this place does good, honest work based on this experience.

A Tipsy Gypsy Life ! I have been going to Garys for years! Always reasonable in price (lower labor than other mechanics). Always done right. Aaron (Garys son who took over the business) is always so nice and so pleasant to work with. Its cliche...but he really does care!

Jennifer Zhang We are from out of town & our ford e150 blew a spark plug.. the tool to fix this is hard to find & very unique. Every shop we called has to either order it or take a look at it first. We wasted 2 days at another shop because they didnt have the proper tools. After calling around, one shop recommended this place & not only did he know exactly what the problem was over the phone, he was able to order the tool overnight & fix the issues in his own way. Well worth the money, honest good guy, highly recommend. Super glad we found him.

Sue Thompson These guys are greatI Very friendly, professional and helpful... and SMART. They found and fixed a problem (in under an hour) that even the dealer could not figure out. It was a road-noise rattle that had been going on for several months. My husband had taken the car to the dealer, but they could not find the noise. Since I was about to do a thousand mile road trip, I really wanted to be sure there was no driving or safety hazard. After one shop had offered me an appointment 10 days away and another didnt even return my call, I stopped by Fillmore St. Garage, with no appointment, to ask if they might be able to have a look within the next few days. Roy immediately walked out to the car with me to do a couple of quick tests, then asked me to return a later that afternoon when he could put it up on the lift to check it out. Long story short: Roy found the source of the noise (which the dealers crew failed to do!) fixed it right there on the spot, and test drove the car with me to confirm it was fixed. And charged me a VERY reasonable price. In fact I was surprised at how low the cost was. Definitely highly recommended!

Susan S I have taken my in-laws car to Jiffy Lube in Port Townsend three times. I have never been disappointed. Yesterday, Russ went far and beyond a normal oil and filter change. It turns out my in-laws car had a rat or squirrel nest in the engine. It took quite a while to get enough out so that Russ could pull the filter. He then decided that since the engine area was so bad, he wanted to look at the cabin air filter. This turned out to be "the worst he has ever seen." I am not sure what nested in their car, but it sure left A LOT of nesting material. Russ was amazing in all he did to get the material out. I then found out they do other fluid work on cars, so I had them take care of that and the carbon build up too. In the end, the car ran much better and I am sure (due to all of the material Russ pulled out) the fan worked much better also. I want to thank Russ and Mathew for the great service on 4/16/2025. We will be back.

Gary Lanthrum A very large bolt pierced the tread of my tire. I brought the car in to have that repaired. The office area was undergoing a significant renovation, so it was not a comfortable place to wait. The real surprise was that there was no charge for the repair! It was not a simple fix. The tire had to be removed from the wheel, and the technician spent some time getting the bolt out and preparing the tire for the patch. The effort appeared significant to me, so I was quite surprised when the technician handed me the key to my car when he was done and told me there was no charge. WOW, thats a heck of a way to generate happy customers. Ill certainly give this shop a try when it is time for new tires!

Forest laitman Have you ever brought a car to a mechanic and end up with a vehicle that is worse than when you brought it in?I knew this place would be more than other, and I was hoping this would bring quality. Boy, I was wrong! Had a o2 sensor and some suspected mouse damage- after 3 days I get the recommendation on tires to be changed. The lights came back on and now the car idle is worse! I should have listened to people who warned me about this shop. Never again! So frustrating and expensive for nothing!

Steve Kemper All loaded up and ready to drive out of town and my totally dependable Subaru would not start. Something seriously wrong. As the car never needed work, I didnt have a local mechanic... I called Satch Works. Like all the great shops in town, he was booked out for 6 weeks and he was also short handed right before Labor Day. Still I was told to have it towed and somehow he would fit it in. Less than 48 hours later I got a call. All fixed. Less than the original estimate. The mice had been at work chewing through the wiring harness. Truly great, friendly service. Over and above what is expected!

Michael Fredericksen Took my BMW in for repairs and service on a Tuesday. They found a problem with a wheel speed sensor which they did not have in stock and had to order one. Got the car back on Thursday repaired and serviced and running great. The service reps were very good about keeping me informed and explaining the work done at the end of the service. The bill was reasonable. Very happy with their service.
