1 /5 S Rogers: What a chaotic mess this place is! Pull in for an oil change with 84 VW Vanagon (engine in rear). Didn’t carry 15W40 so had to go to Walmart and come back. Manager comes out and says ‘Houston we have a problem’ and was told they couldn’t do a complete service without access to engine. Again just wanted an oil change. Never had an issue with quick oil change places and super easy with access through rear license plate flap to fill. Just seemed to make a bigger deal about it than necessary. Felt uncomfortable with their standard operating procedure (there wasn’t any). Employees forgetting checks. Manager was abrupt and basically said they weren’t liable if their work if they couldn’t get access. Finally checked air pressure in tires but not allowed to put air in?? Just passing through so won’t go here again or any Jiffy Lube for that matter.

It blew my mind. The inspection alone was amazing as well as the work that was done to My Nissan Xterra took it in for an exhaust leak and they found the problem fixed it. At a very affordable price. Mike is the owner and a very pleasant and professional man, he personally made sure my Rolls is in perfect condition, they even have a 12 month warranty with very high mileage. Once he even rescued us when my Rolls didn’t want to start , that was after his shop already closed! Wow! My father in law takes his Jaguar there , same positive experience. Tomorrow my Rolls Royce is going for a little maintenance and a small repair and I am excited to know she will be perfect in a couple of days because of the expertise of Kings Cross!

Madison Snaric: Thought this was a trustworthy place. They probably cost me my entire engine (1998 Honda Accord). They did my timing belt and theyve also done every oil change on my car for the past two years. Recently, I started having serious issues — my crankshaft pulley came off twice, and after getting another mechanic to take a look, I was told the crankshaft keyway is completely destroyed, which means the entire engine has to be replaced. This kind of failure doesn’t happen overnight. It’s almost always caused by an improperly torqued crank bolt or misaligned pulley — exactly what Car Tech touched during the timing belt job. Damage like this takes time to show, so the timeline fits. On top of that, they also stripped my oil pan drain plug and blamed “wear and tear." That is not how drain plugs fail. And they have been the ones changing my oil every time, so why didnt they notice it failing during the prior oil change and inform me? I can’t recommend this shop to anyone — especially for major engine or mechanical work.
