Daniel was incredibly informative, sharing fascinating stories and historical insights about the buildings and surrounding areas. His knowledge and enthusiasm really brought the past to life. While we would have loved to see even more historical artifacts or preserved elements in the tunnels themselves, the supporting visuals helped paint the picture. Overall, it was a unique and enjoyable experience that gave us a new appreciation for Seattle’s hidden history.

5 /5 Chris Westwood: Apologies for the much delayed review :( After seeing the movie "Malignant" and getting a glimpse of underground Seattle which I had no idea about, I had to book an underground tour on our first trip to Seattle back in January of this year. We opted to do an evening tour and I am glad we did as it set a cool vibe for walking around Pioneer Square when we would resurface from below. I believe our tour guide was Terrilyn (apologies if thats incorrect). She was awesome and very energetic & engaging (perhaps a theatre background) but not overly so. In addition, she is extremely knowledgeable of Seattles history and it was fascinating to learn of the constant struggles and obstacles that the people of Seattle had to overcome during its early existence. The tour itself is not overly long, however, you do want to wear some comfortable shoes as you will do quite a bit of "easy" walking. Highly recommend getting tickets beforehand as well!

5 /5 Kate Carter: My mom and I flew into Seattle about midday, got a drink and snack at an Irish pub near Pioneer Square and then enjoyed the Beneath The Streets tour. Our guide, Sarah, was very knowledgeable and personable. Be prepared for stairs, but the underground wasn’t particularly cold, so this is a good tour even if the weather doesn’t cooperate. You’ll learn Seattle history and see places you otherwise might have no idea about. We even stopped at a local bar recommended afterwards.

5 /5 Arnold A: Had an awesome time with our tour guide Dave. Loved learning about how the city was formed into what it is now. You would never know half the story from just walking around. From UPS delivering opioids to brothels, to grunge being produced here ,and so much more! It was a great value and truly makes you appreciate the city for what it is. Dave even gave us recommendations for food and drinks. Next time Ill be joining the red light district tour!

Pacific Science Center - Seattle

Troy Byrne: Our family was traveling through Seattle and we love going to science centers. We spent the entire day from 10-5 exploring everything they have. Our kids really enjoyed the maker space area and butterfly exhibit. We also chose to see a couple of the laser shows that were free with our tickets. They were super cool. They have so many wonderful ways to spend a day together.

Pike Place Market - Seattle

Andrea: Went on a busy day as it was getting warm- it was packed. All the famous vendors were too touristy for my taste (the prices were crazy, like $17 for a bowl of plain mac and cheese). But if you want authenticity and a calmer experience, wander through the hallways in the back. Thats where the true gems are

The Gum Wall at Unexpected Productions Improv - Seattle

Chris Westwood: If you’re visiting Seattle, you’ve got to check out The Gum Wall at Pike Place Market. It’s weird, kind of gross, totally quirky, and somehow mesmerizing. Tucked into Post Alley, this colorful wall of chewed gum has become one of the city’s most iconic spots. It’s like urban art meets candy chaos. It’s definitely one of those “only in Seattle” experiences which you have to see for yourself.

Fremont Troll - Seattle

K Dennard: Such a cool, beautiful little place to visit. You and your loved ones will be sure to enjoy this place- especially the kids. It has a trail that you walk through and info about the trees and their importance in our world. There is also a turtle there where you can sprinkle some water on it and a make a wish. The flowers are so beautiful. It is very relaxing and peaceful. My family and I went early in the morning which is a perfect time to go, we had the whole area to ourselves, we really loved it. Please be respectful of the surrounding residents, the trail and garden statues- no littering or destruction of property- help keep it clean and beautiful.

Pier 55 - Seattle

Chris Westwood: Pier 55 is one of those spots that’s touristy in the best way—classic, scenic, and filled with little surprises. A perfect stop to soak up some Seattle charm. It’s one of those places that makes you feel like you’re truly experiencing the soul of the city—laid-back, salty-aired, and full of life. Around the pier, the waterfront has a fun, slightly nostalgic boardwalk feel with plenty to explore.

Museum of Pop Culture - Seattle

Araceli Lopez: An unforgettable experience every time! Our kids had an absolute blast exploring exhibits about their favorite musicians and movies—it’s the perfect blend of fun and learning. The displays are not only educational but also incredibly engaging, with stunning artwork throughout. We’ve visited multiple times: once when the kids were toddlers, and again now that they’re teenagers. Watching their expressions light up as they discover new facts is priceless. One of our favorite moments? Recreating a photo in front of the Super Mario mural—once as little ones, now as teens. It’s such a special way to see how much they’ve grown. Can’t recommend it enough!

Seattle Japanese Garden - Seattle

Dans Inferno: Attractive but relatively small garden. Im not sure if its common for people to stage photos here, but the garden was packed with teenagers getting formal pictures taken. The water in pond had a few fish, but it was pretty murky. The presence of a massive bullfrog was pretty cool, as was a heron chilling on a rock over the water. If you get away from the pond, there might be some secluded spots to sit in peace for a minute. There is no gift shop, but there are a handful of items for sale at the counter. The entrance fee is $10. Theres a small parking lot close to the garden. There is no fee to park, but it looks like space availability could be a problem.

Seattle Center - Seattle

Alfredo Aguilar: Amazing experience! The customer service was excellent, and there was no wait at all. The views were breathtaking, especially at night with all the city lights—absolutely stunning. Such a cool and memorable visit. A must-see if youre in Seattle!

Smith Tower - Seattle

Shaylin: Fun date night! We went for our two year anniversary. The view is lovely! The elevator attendant that we got was very knowledgeable. We went upstairs and marveled at the view and got food. Honestly, it is well priced and delicious- we got cocktails, the pork belly sliders (delicious), and shishito peppers. Definitely recommend the sliders. The building is littered with history. It is all written out if youd like to read it. There were signs to explain what you were looking out at which was nice. The downstairs has a switch board room which is also neat!! Definitely a good date night spot :)

Hamilton Viewpoint Park - Seattle

Vurst: It’s tucked in a residential neighborhood but has a good view of the downtown skyline and enough parking for about 20 or so cars. Not much else is here except the view.
