The displays are not only educational but also incredibly engaging, with stunning artwork throughout. We’ve visited multiple times: once when the kids were toddlers, and again now that they’re teenagers. Watching their expressions light up as they discover new facts is priceless. One of our favorite moments? Recreating a photo in front of the Super Mario mural—once as little ones, now as teens. It’s such a special way to see how much they’ve grown. Can’t recommend it enough!

5 /5 Ozgur Coskun: Just visited the Museum of Pop Culture in Seattle and it was absolutely worth it! First up, the music exhibits are a must-see. From legendary guitars to rare memorabilia, it’s a paradise for music lovers, whether you’re into rock, indie, or country. We even got to play electric guitars and jam in soundproof rooms. Super fun with friends! Next, we explored the Infinite Worlds of Science Fiction exhibit. Imagine seeing props from Blade Runner and War of the Worlds up close — total geek-out moment! For those who love a good scare, there are over 50 props and costumes from horror classics. And even if you’re like me and not a big horror fan, it’s still worth it I had fun learning how to pose for scary movie shots and grabbing some creepy photos. We paid a little extra to check out the Asian comic book museum section. Totally worth it — they had some rare pieces dating back to the 1940s! MoPOP is an immersive journey through the best of pop culture. Whether you’re into music, sci-fi, or horror, there’s something for you. People typically spend around two hours here we stayed for three, and honestly, we’ll probably come back for more jam sessions! Don’t think twice, if you want a half day of full-on fun, this is the place, they designed to make you have fun!!!

5 /5 Hadi: One of the coolest place to visit in Seattle. There is so much to do!! They have a gaming section that anyone could easily spend some time there. My favorite part about this place was third floor, sound bar, they have all kinda of instruments that you can play! Highly recommend this place!

5 /5 Steve Jones: Such an excellent museum! Love all of the movie artifacts, the nirvana exhibit, the Hendrix exhibit, the music creation on the top level and the Never Go Back exhibit. Its all wonderfully curated and fascinating!

5 /5 Dans Inferno: This museum offers a unique look into the the popular music scene in Seattle with specific exhibits focused on native sons, Jimi Hendrix and Nirvana, but it has so much more to experience. An Asian comics exhibit is here for a limited time, but if you can catch it, its worth it. The exhibit covers not just Japanese manga but comics and popular art from all over Asia. There are also horror film, science fiction, and fantasy exhibits with props from films on display. On the top floor is a space focused on black music from gospel to blues to jazz to soul. Looking for some interactive fun with music? Visit the sound lab on the top floor and experience your own music creation with multiple instruments in several individual booths. The Museum of Pop Culture is located in Seattle Central next to the Space Needle. Its probably best to park in the garage across the street, although there are several paid lots in the area. Parking is $30 for a day as of June 2025.

Smith Tower - Seattle

Shaylin: Fun date night! We went for our two year anniversary. The view is lovely! The elevator attendant that we got was very knowledgeable. We went upstairs and marveled at the view and got food. Honestly, it is well priced and delicious- we got cocktails, the pork belly sliders (delicious), and shishito peppers. Definitely recommend the sliders. The building is littered with history. It is all written out if youd like to read it. There were signs to explain what you were looking out at which was nice. The downstairs has a switch board room which is also neat!! Definitely a good date night spot :)

Hamilton Viewpoint Park - Seattle

Vurst: It’s tucked in a residential neighborhood but has a good view of the downtown skyline and enough parking for about 20 or so cars. Not much else is here except the view.

Kerry Park - Seattle

Cykard 49: This is the ultimate Seattle photo spot where you can catch both the Space Needle and Mt. Rainier in one frame. Fair warning: parking is street-only and can be a bit of a treasure hunt. But trust me, its worth it! Perfect spot to chill with friends while taking in that iconic Seattle skyline with natures masterpiece, Mt. Rainier, in the background. Pro tip: Add this to your Seattle bucket list—you wont regret the drive up here!

My husband and I were also able to take advantage and had a mini date too. The staff was very friendly. Jimi Hendrix Statue - Seattle

Christian G: I enjoyed the statue but am not sure why its in such a random place. I didnt feel like the neighborhood was the best. It was easy to get to by street car and light rail. However, the area felt unsafe due to heavy graffiti, and persons who seemed under the influence roaming the streets. Its a great statue to honor Jimi and Im glad I got to see it.

Volunteer Park - Seattle

Violetta Fedotova: Volunteer park is one of my favorite parks in Seattle. It has lots of interesting landmarks such as the Seattle Asian Art Museum, the Conservatory, and the Observation Tower. There is plenty to see and it is very nice to walk around. There are always lots of ducks and other birds. Also there is a good view of the Seattle skyline. It is very clean and I would certainly recommend visiting once you get the chance.

Wings Over Washington - Seattle

Mark McGuire: Love this immersive experience, like flying in a hang glider over Western Washington. Similar to "Soaring" at Disneys California Adventure (only the latter is better). Weve gone twice in the last year. We enjoyed it as much as the grandkids!

Westlake Park - Seattle

Aplih A: Small city park in the middle of downtown - always a lively spot with music, lights, picnics and a lot more going on throughout the year. Take a break from all shopping stores around it or just stroll in the park to people watch. Parking is difficult due to the high traffic area so public transportation or biking or scooters or walking recommended. If you are in Seattle and have very less time, definitely check out this park next to the most touristy pike place market.
