4 /5 Christian G: I enjoyed the statue but am not sure why its in such a random place. I didnt feel like the neighborhood was the best. It was easy to get to by street car and light rail. However, the area felt unsafe due to heavy graffiti, and persons who seemed under the influence roaming the streets. Its a great statue to honor Jimi and Im glad I got to see it.

5 /5 William Caddell: I was in Seattle and stumbled into Broadway and saw a statue across the road, in the middle of the pavement. Curiosity got the better of me and lo and behold, there was Jimi Hendrix, as a very lifelike statue playing his guitar. I half expected him to get up and belt out the Stars and Stripes. The artist captured him perfectly. Absolutely wonderful.

5 /5 Giselle Santamaria: It is very interesting to see how this beautiful tribute to the guitar star Jimi Hendrix is located in the Seattle area, close to the city and where everyone can see it and walk by. He is still among us, and in my opinion, there is no better tribute than that! Jimi Hendrix was born in Seattle and even though he died so young, he is a music icon and inspiration for many souls.

Definitely a music icon, on our was through Washington we will check out his grave site as I imagine that would be better and have less meth heads yelling to my kids for spare change. The crossing area on the roads by the lights were cool with the rainbow designs. Even spots on the sidewalks that have various dance steps numbered out for you lol

Take a break from all shopping stores around it or just stroll in the park to people watch. Parking is difficult due to the high traffic area so public transportation or biking or scooters or walking recommended. If you are in Seattle and have very less time, definitely check out this park next to the most touristy pike place market.

(Go out the back side of Pike Place market and go to a sketchy alley... ) Im so thankful to the designers and planners builders and leaders who had a vision and created this. Ties the waterfront to the market in a beautiful way. Its a lot of steps!!

Gates Foundation Discovery Center - Seattle

A Ben (Halfmexicanallfiesta): Great staff and fun exhibits make this a fun visit for families or individuals. My partner and I visited when they had the toilet exhibit. The staff was knowledgeable about what was happening and we found they were passionate about teaching what they knew as well. Linda esp seemed to be having a good time at the water testing game. Did I mention its free?

Charles Richey Sr Viewpoint - Seattle

Michael Carlile: Cold & windy at the end of April,but nice views and free easy parking adjacent to the beach, which is a mix of stone and sand.Seals whales and river otters among other wildlife to be seen. Too cold for us to wait and watch but would love to see them all.

Kelly Lee: A pretty nice museum with a mix of cultural exhibits, including contemporary, Greek, African, and Asian pieces. While the variety is interesting, the overall collection feels limited—I wish the exhibits were more extensive. The café is a pleasant spot to relax. Parking is $10 on weekends with validation.

Yer Vang: Great landmarks to visit if you want a day of exploration. We only visited a few places of pioneer square, but it was worth the sightseeing. Around the outskirts of Pioneer Square was lots of homelessness, so be careful out there.

Museum of History & Industry (MOHAI) - Seattle

Kevin Luo: Iconic museum located in a scenic setting. Great place to learn every little detail about Seattle. Upon entering, I was immediately blown away by the massive main hall and the size of the artifacts and artworks being exhibited. The museum hosts an amazing collection of artifacts, methodically presented in a manner sure to captivate the visitor. I love the detail the museum put into their presentations, especially regarding the impact Seattle has globally through its industry and entrepreneurship. I really enjoyed the experience, save for the fact that parking is limited and not free.
