Even though they were fully booked for the day, they squeezed us in. The woman who did my nails was so kind and enthusiastic and the people working there helped me pick better colors and seemed like they genuinely wanted to help, unlike previous nail salons I’ve gone to. I will go to them in the future and I highly recommend!!
The Spa and Salon at PRO Club - Bellevue Ila Nejati: I recently had a haircut appointment at this salon, and unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. When I booked the appointment, I specifically mentioned multiple times that I needed a stylist experienced with curly hair, and I was assured that the hairdresser I would be seeing had that expertise.
However, the hairdresser didn’t even bother to wet my hair before cutting it, which immediately surprised me, but I gave her the benefit of the doubt, thinking she must know what she was doing. After the cut, I noticed several flaws and mentioned them to her. She told me she would fix them after washing my hair, but she didn’t. I brought it up again after the cut was finished, and she still ignored my concerns. At that point, I gave up.
She didn’t dry my hair, just applied some cream, which made it look awful. As I was driving home, I noticed several pieces of hair that she hadn’t even cut, and they didn’t match the rest of my hair.
I called the salon to request a new appointment with a different stylist and again asked to be booked with someone experienced with curly hair. I explained that, because of my curls, it’s important to take extra time to brush through the hair before cutting, so it can be done evenly. The response I received was shocking: the receptionist suggested I go somewhere else that specializes in “your type of hair.” I politely asked for clarification, and she repeated the same statement. When I mentioned that I’ve had several haircuts there without any issues and that wavy hair is different from straight hair, I was told, "We will put that on our website."
I’m honestly appalled by how rude and unprofessional the reception was and how poorly my haircut turned out. I will update this post with pictures of my hair as it is now and after I straighten it, so you can see how uneven the cut is.

La Na Nail Lounge - Kirkland Rahima: The nails were beautiful, yes. However, the customer service is anything but. After paying around $150 dollars for some sage marble nails, I experienced one snapping backwards after snagging on a blanket thread, taking my real nail off with it. That night, I was in the emergency room for a while, where they injected my fingertip with lidocaine (very painfully), then cut open my nail bed to try and reset my nail so my new nail (which HAS NOT GROWN BACK YET) starts to grow back properly. After explaining this to them, their team told me they dont do refunds. I was never told this, I could not find their policy online, and I wasnt shown it in store. I wasnt asked to sign a waiver of any kind. In addition they had recommended the gelX service, not explaining any of the downsides or upsides of it. I am clueless, so of course I went with what was recommended. After, at a different salon, the technician asked me about my nonexistent nail on my finger, and when I told her, she said they SHOULD NOT have recommended GelX service due to the length of nail that I chose as they would break easily. Frustratingly enough, even with a credit card statement, photos, and a discharge paper from the hospital, I have not received any compensation. In the end I paid 150 dollars to get my nail taken out of my finger. Isnt that wild? Now my hands look worse than before I got my nails done.
Botanica Beauty Studio - Bellevue Ruby A: This place is dishonest and unprofessional. They schedule me on a model price with a set price and agreement and completely wasted my time after the consultation. Telling me that it expired when my whole visit was very clearly based on that price.
Telling me they can’t honor something when it’s clearly stated is insane and if they no longer needed models let someone know before they take time to come in would be the right thing to do !!
I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH A PLACE LIKE THIS.
Perfect Nails Kent - Kent Laura Thomas: I am always welcomed and well cared for at Perfect Nails in Kent. I drive a distance now to continue coming back. Thank you, Kate and Nina, for pampering me today. The results are just beautiful and I’m ready for some sunshine and toes in the sand!
Design Nail Spa - Kent MJ Parris: Love this little hidden gem, they take their
time on your nails as well as reasonably priced. I love that my fingers don’t hurt and feel butchered after having my nails done like some places. I showed the man what design I wanted and he absolutely killed it.
Sky Nails Spa in Kent - Kent Andrea Babalis: This was my first time coming in and I enjoyed this place very much! I will be coming back from now on, I’m a college student looking for nice clean affordable nail salon and this place is just that! They can do so many designs and they turn out looking really good too! they crush them. Also, they have massage chairs that feel so good!
Honest Nails Bar - Kent Station - Kent Jaimee M.: Nice people, clean spa, cute nails, but be prepared to pay over $100 for a dip set if you want design. I called and asked about pricing before I showed up and they told me it started at $50 and designs were 10 and up so imagine my surprise when my total was $105 for this set. They also charge for shaping which they did not mention on the phone.
Elegant Nails - kent - Kent Liz Roberts: I liked the salon. Seemed clean and well kept. They were pretty busy when I was there. I got a full set of acrylics. The manicurist was sort of rough with her files and nicked a couple of my cuticles with the drill and filed down to the nail bed in a couple edge places. My main issue is that several of my nails look like ski slopes pointing up and don’t really have an apex. Not sure if I’d go back.
Central Nails and Spa - Kent mo austin: First time here today & will definitely be back! I am so happy with my nails. They took off a fresh set from 2 weeks ago with no pain. Soaked them off. Set me up with a fresh pink & white set (pink acrylic, white acrylic) with 2 topcoats of clear gel & all of that was only $70. I absolutely love the way they turned out. Sau asked me all the questions before & during to make sure I walked out with exactly what I wanted...and I am super particular. This is a gem right here! (Excuse my wrinkles. Im a seasoned woman)
