Chapel of St. Ignatius - Seattle (WA)

5 /5 Nathan Christopher: Truly a hidden gem within Seattle University’s campus. The chapel showcases the talent of Steven Holl through light openings that fill up the space naturally. The area is pretty small but is fully functional. A must visit when in Capitol Hill!

5 /5 Michael de Lange: Really amazing, intimate space with beautiful filtered light. Its definitely represents some of the best architecture o f the 1990s. Its worth checking out if youre an architecture nerd.

5 /5 John Sparks: This is the primary chapel for Seattle University, a Catholic Jesuit liberal arts school. The chapel is in a beautiful city campus setting, surrounded by trees and a reflecting pool. The lone bell tower rises from the reflecting pool. The chapel itself is a beautiful and interesting combination of modern and traditional; i.e., an obvious Jesuit influence. Except for holidays, Sunday Masses are at 5pm; M-F at 12:30pm. Lovely and reverent Masses with amazing music. The parishioners are a mixture of students, faculty, and members of the community. This is a lovely and holy place.

5 /5 Ethan Greger: This Chapel is gorgeous and calming, more than most. The masses and services are always fantastic. If you are not Catholic, or Christian, you will likely still find beauty here both within yourself and these walls. God bless!

5 /5 Steve Midas: Tranquil. A place to literally & figuratively reflect on things that matter hopefully. We were lucky to catch the choir practicing. Midas 5-stars for the peace you can feel in your heart.
