1 /5 Bobby-Bogdan Mihoc: Not only unfriendly, but outright hostile to newcommers. The speakers, as well as the people attending the church seemed very fake. The have EIGHT ushers, and not a single one of them bothered to reply with even the faintest "hello" when I walked in, or "goodbye" when I left. They just simply just dont care about people. They practice NOTHING of what they preach. Ironically, their message the second time I went was about being welcoming and genuine. What a joke! Ive been a member of the Church of Christ for 18 years now (California and Louisiana) and had great fellowship with the church all this time. I was baptized into the Church of Christ. I just moved to Seattle, and was hoping to join this one. Not a chance now. Ive been treated like garbage, twice in a row now. Not stepping foot again in this den of sin.

1 /5 Bren Rey: Very cult-like church. Lovebombing is common especially towards new people so you’ll instantly feel “welcomed”. Misogynistic and not LGBTQ+ friendly. All of the high reviews here are all from long time members, which is hilarious. It feels great when you’re in but they leave no room for different thoughts, perspective, and theology. There are a lot of better churches out there. Stay away from this church or other Church of Christ in the their network.

5 /5 keisuke T: I’ve been the member of Seattle Church of Christ for the past 7+ years and I enjoy most part of it. People are friendly and loving and they loves to talk, which is rare in Seattle. ALL of the ushers are warm and friendly and they made the church service run smoothly. Preaching are biblical based and I understand the Bible could be challenging to follow sometime. But let’s keep it straight, being a Christian is not jointing a social club. It’s about serving each other, NOT taking from each other. I don’t under what’s going on with some of the negative review (Like Bobby M). I believe bad trees cannot bear good fruits. please check out his profile and look at the comments he made to other organization. It’s quite entertaining to be honest with you.

Even something as simple as a four-minute conversation with a stranger has been key in helping me build friendships and find my place in Seattle. I sent two correspondence’s for some additional information almost two weeks ago and still, I haven’t heard from a soul. For a church that is supposed to be so big about community they appear to be very shut off to outsiders. I felt as if my questions were irrelevant and disregarded as unimportant. I think when someone says they are looking for something to help them improve their relationship with Christ, a church or its staff, would at least respond, even if the answer is I don’t know. At this point, even if someone reaches out, the church has already told me what I need to know and everything about who they are. If you’re new here and have questions or concerns, I absolutely do not recommend contacting this particular body.
