  • Dumas Bay Sanctuary - Federal Way
    Dumas Bay Sanctuary
Clover Connections: Easy to find by GPS. Good parking lot, entrance just past the house. It might be difficult to get through the gate with a bicycle or stroller, with its turnstile like structure. Short path to bay. At low tide, you will smell the pungent seaweed smell. Lots of sandbars though to walk out on. Great, expansive view of Puget Sound.

ejaniswa: Wonderful amount of parking as we arrived mid-morning. Low tide. Some very rocky areas, along with some sand. I would suggest bringing rubber boots as the tide comes in it might be necessary to go through some water. Some clams on the rivers edge might squirt you with water. Gorgeous views of the Olympics.

    Kitsap History Museum
Steve Seattle: Very surprised by this place; it has an interesting walk-thru attraction that simulates downtown Bremerton a long time ago with very detailed exhibits, with audio narration. Cute gift shop with cool postcards.
    Harborside Fountain Park - Bremerton
    Harborside Fountain Park
Jonathan Wade: Beautiful park with flowering trees, shrubs, gardens, a gentle waterfall feature and of course, the fountains. Surrounded by shallow pools with walkways on either side of each fountain, the large, dark bronze sculptures erupt every so often sending a huge plume of water into the air above. The walkway leads to an overlook of the sound and Bremerton Naval Yard. There are benches and polished stone slabs for sitting, taking in the view, or just relaxing with friends.
Bug & Reptile Museum - Bremerton
    Bug & Reptile Museum
Thibodeaux Iconic (Iconic Thibodeaux): We had fun at this little museum! Its self walk through. Plenty of fun facts and information on the critters they do have. I wish it was more! But I loved all the bugs that were kept in shadow boxes. Theyre all so unique. Be sure to donate so they can keep it open! Theres a QR code inside as well as a little donation bucket.
    Manette Bridge - Bremerton
    Manette Bridge
Greg Salo: This bridge, built in 2011, replaced the historic Old Manette Bridge (c. 1930s). The new bridge has a very nice wide sidewalk for pedestrians. Great views to the north, south and west.
    Bremerton Boardwalk - Bremerton
    Bremerton Boardwalk
Wildcraft Rose: Lots of people, over 100 vendors, a beer and wine garden, different types of foods and crafts, lively music, a sea breeze and a tour of the USS Turner Joy - Navy Destroyer ship. And just a beautiful view of the marina.
