Curlew Lake State Park - Republic (WA)

4 /5 Mariah Konchan: The park was nice. The bathrooms/showers were always clean. There was only a little hiking, and it was not a lot of space per each campsite, which was why it lost one star. But overall a good time. We visited in early August so no fires allowed. Check-in process was simple and thorough.

5 /5 Eriksson Heyen: Fantastic place. Was our first trip ever In our RV. Lush green grass, nice wide boat loach, big dock. Lakes a bit small, and a little scummy, but we had a great time jet skiing. The ranger and staff were so friendly and made you feel welcome. Everything was clean and well cared for. Highly recommend.

5 /5 Kashara Ketchersid: Great place for a camping trip out in the middle of no where. No cell service, great boat launch for fishing, and swimming area for kids. We came here to fish and was pleasantly surprised most others did too, also bringing their boats along. Boats were entering the late early in the morning and even late at night which we loved being able to do. Pleasantly quiet place and very very respectful and nice rangers. They keep the place running nicely without bugging anyone. Hidden gem

3 /5 Michelle Nicholson: The park is easy to find right off Hwy 21. Small town nearby with groceries and other supplies. The full hookup sites are disappointing – nothing but gravel and very close together. Firepit is in back of the site in common grass area. The partial hookup sites are much nicer with lots of room between sites. Some really nice walk-in tenting sites along the lake shore. Good boat launch, docks right by campground. Nice lake stocked with trout. Camp host on site and lots of birds to watch. Some easy hiking trails with great lake views. There are lots of “No Hunting” signs in the campground, apparently this park is heavily used by hunters during fall hunting seasons. The park is clean, with plenty of grass and some shade for hot days. Picnic area with muddy beach is a moderate walking distance from campground. Not a great place for swimming. Life jackets honesty program for kids and various planned activities available.
