1 /5 Lex A: $225 bill for the worst cut and color service I have had since I have lived here. After all the heartache of the damage that was done, and serious consideration of reporting this chick to state board, I found out my stylist, Brooke, has only been licensed for a year. Most stylists who have been doing hair for 10-20 years charge what I was and they at least are tenured enough to do it right... Went in with level 7 previously lightened hair. I wanted Icy blonde with a smokey shadow root. I had a clear expectation that I might not leave icy blonde in my first sitting. But the stylist decided she would take an aggressive approach and I walked out completely over processed, (they obviously dont spend the money they make on Olaplex) and I was also incredibly over toned. I looked like smurfette by the time I left. Once the blue toner finally started to fade I had the ugliest halo of unblended bleed lines from the bleach. I wanted long layers in my hair and I ended up getting a hack job. Like the most basic 90 degree haircut they teach in beauty school. No point cutting to take out the weight or blend the lines. Instead I got thinning shears that were used way too high up on my hair shaft. A few months after having Brooke do my hair I had to cut 4.5" off (with a better stylist) to try and get back to better, healthier hair; and still I could probably afford another 3" just to undo the damage she has done. Save your money, and your locks... look elsewhere for a stylist who knows what theyre doing.
